Abstract: In one embodiment, an issue analysis service obtains telemetry data from a plurality of devices in a network across a plurality of time intervals. The service detects a failure event in which a device in the network is in a failure state. The service clusters the telemetry data obtained prior to the failure event into rounds according to time intervals in which the telemetry data was collected. Each round corresponds to a particular time interval. The service applies a machine learning-based classifier to each one of the rounds of clustered telemetry data to identify one or more common traits appearing in the telemetry data for each round. The service generates a trait change report indicating a change in the one or more common traits appearing in the telemetry data across the rounds leading up to the failure event.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a service classifies a device in a network as human-controlled or self-controlled. The service also classifies an online resource as designed for access by human-controlled devices or by self-controlled devices. The service obtains traffic data regarding an attempt by the device to access the online resource via the network. The service determines that the attempt by the device to access the online resource is a security violation, based on the classifications of the device and the online resource. The service initiates a mitigation action in the network for the security violation.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a device in a network maintains an information module to recommend system actions for a monitored system in the network. The information module generates recommendations using an information library database populated by one or more data sources. The device assesses behaviors of the information module and determines a review cadence for the information library database based on the assessed behaviors of the information module. The device updates the information library database according to the determined review cadence.

Abstract: A system and method to detect a generative model's output to see if it is hallucinating or not, and to check the facts listed in the model. Additionally, when a hallucination or incorrect fact is detected, the correct fact can be applied as context to ask the model to regenerate the output again, taking the fact into consideration while also optionally lowering the temperature or increasing the top-k values from which to choose. A method is provided comprising: obtaining output produced by the generative model based on input provided to the generative model; performing summarization and topic extraction on the output to obtain one or more topics; performing fact checking on each of the one or more topics to produce a consolidated ground truth context; and declaring that the generative model is hallucinating or not based on the consolidated ground truth context.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, via one or more processors, video data and audio data associated with respective participants in a video session, determining, via the one or more processors, words spoken by a speaker participant in the video session based on the audio data, determining, via the one or more processors, a location of the speaker participant in a framing of the video data based on the video data and the audio data, generating, via the one or more processors, an animated avatar to provide sign language representing the words spoken by the speaker participant, modifying, via the one or more processors, the video data of the video session to include the animated avatar based on the location of the speaker participant, and outputting, via the one or more processors, the video data that includes the animated avatar.

Abstract: Presented herein are techniques associated with proactively scheduling shared resources or responsibilities among multiple users. In one example a method is provided that may include sharing masked calendar information between a first device of a first user and at least one second device of at least one second user based on the first device being proximate to the at least one second device; identifying a conflict involving use of a shared resource at a particular time; comparing first priority metadata for the first user and second priority metadata for the at least one second user; and assigning the use of the shared resource to one of the first user or the at least one second user based, at least in part, on determining that the first user or the at least one second user has a highest priority for use of the shared resource.
