    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a display substrate, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device. The method of manufacturing a display substrate includes assembling LED microparticles of each color category onto a printing template corresponding to a respective color category; the surface of the printing template being provided with assembling grooves arranged in such a manner that sub-pixels of a corresponding color category are arranged; transferring the LED microparticles on each printing template onto a same base substrate respectively to form on the base substrate an array of LED microparticles arranged in a same manner as the sub-pixels.

    Abstract: A stereoscopic display device and a stereoscopic display method are provided. The stereoscopic display device comprises: a display unit configured for displaying an image and emitting emergent light; and at least two active scattering panels arranged at a light-emitting side of the display unit and in different planes. The active scattering panels are configured for performing a scattering process to the emergent light, so that the emergent light, after being scattered by the different active scattering panels, forms a stereoscopic picture. By providing a plurality of active scattering panels to achieve stereoscopic display without the provision of a plurality of display panels, it is possible to avoid the problem that backlight emitted by a backlight source is subjected to a serious reduction in transmittance after passing through a plurality of layers of display panels, thereby improving display brightness of a stereoscopic display device.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to liquid display technology, and provides a liquid crystal display screen and a display device. A first and a second optical compensation film are disposed on each side of the liquid crystal layer respectively. By the first optical compensation film, a polarized light obtained from light non-normally incident into a first polarizing layer is compensated so that the polarized light becomes a first elliptically polarized light. By means of the phase retardation function of the liquid crystal layer, the first elliptically polarized light is converted into a second elliptically polarized light with its polarization direction consistent with that of the first elliptically polarized light and its rotation direction opposite to that of the first elliptically polarized light. By the second optical compensation film, the second elliptically polarized light is compensated into a polarized light capable of being absorbed completely by a second polarizing layer.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal panel and a display device are provided. The liquid crystal panel comprises a liquid crystal layer and a pixel region. The pixel region comprises a plurality of pixel units. Each of the pixel units comprises a first subsidiary region (310) and a second subsidiary region (320). In an initial state, a major axis direction of liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer corresponding to the first subsidiary region (310) forms an angle of 90 degrees with respect to a major axis direction of the liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer corresponding to the second subsidiary region (320). The first subsidiary region (310) comprises two subsidiary sub-regions, and the second subsidiary region (320) comprises one or two subsidiary sub-regions. At least two electrodes for applying an In-plane electric field to the liquid crystal layer are disposed in the subsidiary sub-regions of the first and second subsidiary regions (310) and (320), respectively. At least one of the two electrodes comprises a strip electrode. The strip electrodes of the two subsidiary sub-region of the first subsidiary region (310) form an angle larger than 0 degree and less than 180 degrees with respect to each other. The liquid crystal panel and the display device alleviate the problems of poor viewing angle characteristics and severe color shift at different viewing angles of the conventional liquid crystal panel.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a display panel, a method for controlling a display panel, and a display device. The display panel includes a light-emitting substrate and an optical modulation structure which are laminated; and the optical modulation structure supports a first state and a second state which are switchable. In the first state of the optical modulation structure, a first light-emitting unit forms an image at a first position. In the second state of the optical modulation structure, the first light-emitting unit forms an image at a second position. According to the present disclosure, with the optical modulation structure, each light-emitting unit is enabled to form two images at different positions in different states. In this way, the state of the optical modulation structure can be continuously switched without increasing the number of light-emitting units, thereby improving a display effect of the display panel.
