摘要: When a patient is referred to a physician or hospital for a multi-encounter medical procedure, a computer retrieves information from a patient's electronic medical record (EMR) stored in an electronic medical record system of a medical facility. If the EMR suggests that the patient is possibly at risk, a computer poses a questionnaire to the patient, the questionnaire being specifically diagnostic for the suggested risk condition and/or appropriateness of care preferences of the patient. A computer evaluates the EMR information and questionnaire answers together to evaluate risk characteristics of the patient. Based on the evaluating, the computer recommends at least one pathway to be implemented by the medical staff in the patient's care.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for performing image-based food quantity estimation is provided. The method includes acquiring a first image, when the first image depicts a food item and a body part of a first user. The method further includes detecting, based on the acquired first image, a first physical attribute of the body part of the first user. The method furthermore includes identifying, based on the acquired first image, the depicted food item, and estimating a quantity of the food item depicted in the acquired first image based on the identified food item and the detected first physical attribute of the body part of the user.

摘要: A method for classifying a vasculature comprises training a training device with an initial model of a vasculature using diagnostic image data representing a geometry for a plurality of vessels of a vessel tree and including a respective vessel labeling for each vessel, providing at least one diagnostic image of a patient's vessel tree and identifying a variation between the vessel tree represented by the initial model and the patient's vessel tree. This variation is checked and labeled in order to improve the trained model. The process may be repeated iteratively until reaching an accurate patient-specific model of the vasculature.

摘要: A core body temperature sensor (10) includes a thermoresistant structure (12) having a proximal surface (11) configured for attachment to skin of an associated patient, and a distal end (13) opposite from the proximal surface. A plurality of temperature sensors (14) is arranged to measure temperatures of the thermoresistant structure at a corresponding plurality of different distances from the proximal surface of the thermoresistant structure. A temperature-changing element (16) is configured to change a temperature of the distal end of the thermoresistant structure. An electronic processor (20) is programmed to acquire temperature measurements from the plurality of temperature sensors while operating the temperature-changing element to maintain a temperature of the distal end of the thermoresistant structure at a temperature different from an ambient temperature, and extrapolate a core body temperature of the associated patient from the acquired temperature measurements.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to wireless health monitoring devices adapted for intermittent data transmission with controlled energy consumption as well as methods of managing energy consumption by a wireless health monitoring device. As described herein, the devices and methods eliminate the need for an intermediating electronic device, enable direct uploading of health-related data to a back-end device, improve useability of the wireless health monitoring device, reduce costs associated with the wireless health monitoring device, increase the efficiency of data transmission from the health monitoring device, and improve the lifespan of the device's energy source. The devices and methods of the present disclosure find particular application in clinical, out-of-hospital patient monitoring, although other applications are contemplated.

摘要: An imprinting apparatus comprises a first carrier for carrying a flexible stamp having an imprinting pattern and a second carrier movable relative to the first carrier and configured to carry a substrate having a resist layer. The second carrier comprises a chuck and an interface plate over the chuck, wherein the interface plate comprises an array of openings for receiving already-imprinted areas of one side of a substrate while an opposite side of the substrate is to be imprinted. The chuck comprises a fluid passage arrangement for coupling to the openings of the array.

摘要: An imprinting apparatus comprises a first carrier for carrying a flexible stamp and a second carrier movable relative to the first carrier and configured to carry a substrate having a resist layer. The first and second carriers are arranged such that the flexible stamp can be made to contact the substrate. The second carrier comprises a main frame which may be moved (relative to a reference frame) in a Z axis direction by a main actuator, and a chuck with a set of three chuck actuators, each with a stroke smaller than the stroke of the main actuator, for translating a portion of the chuck relative to the main frame in the Z-axis direction. The Z axis movement of the chuck is divided into two stages, with separate long stroke and short stroke drivers. This enables a very stiff support to be created with precise imprint gap control.
