    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that an uplink control information (UCI) payload satisfies a threshold size condition. The UE may map the UCI payload to an uplink control sequence. The UE may transmit a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) that include the uplink control sequence to a base station. The uplink control sequence may be representative of the UCI payload. The base station may receive the PUCCH that includes the uplink control sequence from the UE. The base station may also determine the UCI payload by associating the uplink control sequence with a corresponding sequence index of the one or more sets of uplink control sequences.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To support sidelink coherency management, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sidelink reference signal to a second UE on an active bandwidth part (BWP) or on a first component carrier (CC), the sidelink reference signal associated with a subsequent transmission of a sidelink message on the active BWP or on the first CC. The UE or the second UE may determine whether the UE switches to a second active BWP or transmits a second sidelink message on a second CC prior to transmitting the sidelink message. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE or the second UE may determine whether the UE switches between full-duplex mode and/or a half-duplex mode prior to or concurrent with transmitting the sidelink message. Based on the determination, the UE may transmit the sidelink message according to a first set of coherency transmission characteristics.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. For example, the described techniques provide for a wireless device transmitting an initial transmission associated with a data payload, such as a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) payload. The initial transmission may include a set of bits modulated using a first bit ordering scheme, and the set of bits may include a first bit subset that are transmitted with a lower transmission reliability than a second bit subset of the set of bits. The wireless device may modulate the first bit subset using a second bit ordering scheme that differs from the first bit ordering scheme to generate a modulated bit set. The second bit ordering scheme may be associated with a higher transmission reliability for the first bit subset. The wireless device may transmit the second transmission for the data payload with the modulated bit set.

    Abstract: A method for wireless communications performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a low priority (LP) grant for scheduling an LP uplink transmission in a slot. The LP uplink transmission may overlap a set of high priority (HP) uplink transmissions in the slot. The method also includes determining an uplink shared channel preparation time as a function of a subcarrier spacing (SCS) configuration and a UE processing time capability based on the LP uplink transmission overlapping the set of HP uplink transmissions. The method further includes determining a time period until an expected transmission time for each respective HP uplink transmission of the set of HP uplink transmissions scheduled based on a corresponding HP grant, the time period being a function of the uplink shared channel preparation time and a time duration corresponding to a reported UE capability. The method also includes canceling the LP uplink transmission before a symbol of the LP uplink transmission overlaps an earliest HP uplink transmission of the set of HP uplink transmissions.

A user equipment (UE) may identify a first set of sidelink feedback messages to transmit and a second set of sidelink feedback messages to receive, the first set of sidelink feedback messages scheduled to be transmitted concurrently with the second set of sidelink feedback messages. The UE may select a first subset of sidelink feedback messages from the first set of sidelink feedback messages to transmit and a second subset of sidelink feedback messages from the second set of sidelink feedback messages to receive based at least in part on a priority level associated with each sidelink feedback message and a first set of frequency domain resources for the first subset of sidelink feedback messages and a second set of frequency domain resources for the second subset of sidelink feedback messages.
