Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some cases, a sidelink user equipment (UE) operating in a power saving mode may identify a resource reservation configuration for communicating within a resource pool allocated for sidelink communications. The UE may operate in a first power state of the power saving mode during a sensing window. The sensing window may correspond to a resource selection window of the resource pool. The UE may transition, after the sensing window, from the first power state to a second power state that may consume more power than the first power state. The UE may identify a subset of resources of the resource pool in the resource selection window that are available for sidelink transmission by the UE based on transitioning between the first power state and the second power state.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In one example, a base station may dynamically configure a user equipment (UE) to monitor or avoid monitoring for a preemption indication. Accordingly, the UE may have a lower chance of monitoring for a preemption indication when it is unlikely that an uplink or downlink transmission will be preempted. In another example, a base station may transmit a control message indicating whether future indications received from the base station are to be interpreted as preemption indications or permission indications. Accordingly, the base station may choose to use either preemption indications or permission indications (e.g., based on the probability of collisions between mobile broadband (MBB) and low latency transmissions) to facilitate MBB and low latency communication multiplexing with limited signaling.

The base station may receive the PUCCH that includes the uplink control sequence from the UE. The base station may also determine the UCI payload by associating the uplink control sequence with a corresponding sequence index of the one or more sets of uplink control sequences.

To support sidelink coherency management, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sidelink reference signal to a second UE on an active bandwidth part (BWP) or on a first component carrier (CC), the sidelink reference signal associated with a subsequent transmission of a sidelink message on the active BWP or on the first CC. The UE or the second UE may determine whether the UE switches to a second active BWP or transmits a second sidelink message on a second CC prior to transmitting the sidelink message. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE or the second UE may determine whether the UE switches between full-duplex mode and/or a half-duplex mode prior to or concurrent with transmitting the sidelink message. Based on the determination, the UE may transmit the sidelink message according to a first set of coherency transmission characteristics.

The initial transmission may include a set of bits modulated using a first bit ordering scheme, and the set of bits may include a first bit subset that are transmitted with a lower transmission reliability than a second bit subset of the set of bits. The wireless device may modulate the first bit subset using a second bit ordering scheme that differs from the first bit ordering scheme to generate a modulated bit set. The second bit ordering scheme may be associated with a higher transmission reliability for the first bit subset. The wireless device may transmit the second transmission for the data payload with the modulated bit set.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select a set (represented in a table), from among a plurality of sets (tables) that include beta offset factors associated with multiplexing uplink control information (UCI) with data on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), based at least in part on a priority level of the UCI and a priority level of the data on the PUSCH. The UE may select a beta offset factor from the selected set according to a type of the UCI. The UE may multiplex the UCI with the data in an uplink communication on the PUSCH based at least in part on the selected beta offset factor. The UE may transmit the uplink communication. Abstract: A method for wireless communications performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a low priority (LP) grant for scheduling an LP uplink transmission in a slot. The LP uplink transmission may overlap a set of high priority (HP) uplink transmissions in the slot. The method also includes determining an uplink shared channel preparation time as a function of a subcarrier spacing (SCS) configuration and a UE processing time capability based on the LP uplink transmission overlapping the set of HP uplink transmissions. The method further includes determining a time period until an expected transmission time for each respective HP uplink transmission of the set of HP uplink transmissions scheduled based on a corresponding HP grant, the time period being a function of the uplink shared channel preparation time and a time duration corresponding to a reported UE capability. The method also includes canceling the LP uplink transmission before a symbol of the LP uplink transmission overlaps an earliest HP uplink transmission of the set of HP uplink transmissions.
