Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications between a first device and a second device using a sidelink network are described. The second device may generate a wake-up signal (WUS) including a destination identifier indicating a destination node of the sidelink channel configured to receive the WUS. The first device may receive, from the second device, the WUS including the destination identifier. The first device may identify that the destination identifier indicated by the WUS is associated with the first device based on receiving the WUS. The first device may monitor resources of the sidelink channel based on identifying that the destination identifier is associated with the first device. The destination identifier may be indicated by an information element. Additionally or alternatively, the second device may generate the destination identifier using a gold sequence or a low peak-to-average-power ratio sequence.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE), may receive, at a processing layer of the UE, sets of discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle parameters from a corresponding set of applications at an application layer of the UE. The UE may determine, based on the sets of DRX parameters, a common DRX cycle to satisfy each of the sets of applications. The UE may transmit the common DRX cycle to one or more layers in the user plane protocol stack of the UE. A base station may also receive a request, from the UE, for a set of DRX cycle parameters that satisfies the common DRX cycle of the UE. The base station may transmit an indication of the set of DRX parameters, and receive, from the UE, a confirmation of a DRX cycle associated with the set of DRX cycle parameters.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may receive situational information for a second wireless device over a first communication link between the first wireless device and the second wireless device and situational information for a third wireless device over a second communication link between the first wireless device and the third wireless device. The first wireless device may transmit message with guidance information to the second wireless device on behalf of the third wireless device and based on the second wireless device and the third wireless device having an event likelihood above a threshold. The event likelihood may be based on the situational information for the second wireless device and the situational information for the third wireless device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for cooperative full-duplex techniques for sidelink communications. A first device that supports full-duplex communications may transmit a first message to a second device while concurrently receiving a second message from a third device. The first device may determine a set of parameters that indicate a presence of one or more objects that cause interference at the first device based on communicating with the second and third devices. The set of parameters may include location information, directional beam information, main beam information, and null interference beam information, or velocity information, or any combination thereof. The first device may broadcast an indication of the set of parameters to other devices. In some examples, a device that receives the set of parameters may determine communications parameters for communication with other devices that accounts for the indicated objects.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE), e.g., such as a pedestrian UE (PUE), may detect, during a first transmission period of a discontinuous transmission cycle, a transmission over a sidelink channel from a second UE that is located within a threshold distance from the first UE, the first UE associated with a first identifier. The first UE may determine, based at least in part on the transmission, a second identifier associated with the second UE, the second identifier being different from the first identifier. The first UE may use, based at least in part on the second UE being within the threshold distance, the first identifier and the second identifier during one or more subsequent transmission periods of the discontinuous transmission cycle.
