Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may determine a scrambling sequence for a control channel, wherein the scrambling sequence is determined using a same identifier irrespective of whether the control channel is associated with a cell radio network temporary identifier (C-RNTI) or another type of RNTI, and wherein the scrambling sequence is determined based at least in part on an identifier associated with the wireless communication device and a value associated with an RNTI of the wireless communication device; and transmit or receive the control channel. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes having pairwise orthogonality of adjacent rows, and a new decoder that exploits the pairwise row orthogonality for flexible decoder scheduling without performance loss. An apparatus includes a receiver configured to receive a codeword in accordance with a radio technology across a wireless channel via one or more antenna elements situated proximal the receiver. The apparatus includes at least one processor coupled with a memory and comprising decoder circuitry configured to decode the codeword based on a LDPC code to produce a set of information bits. The LDPC code is stored in the memory and defined by a base matrix having columns in which all adjacent rows are orthogonal in a last portion of the rows.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may determine indices associated with m consecutive elements. In an aspect, each of the m consecutive elements may be associated with a different index. In addition, the apparatus may bit reverse a binary sequence associated with each of the m consecutive elements. In an aspect, each of the m consecutive elements may include a different binary sequence. Further, the apparatus may determine a bit-reversed order of the indices based at least in part on the bit-reversed binary sequence associated with each of the m elements. In addition, the apparatus may write each of the m consecutive elements to a different memory bank in parallel based at least in part on the bit-reversed order of the indices.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless communication device may implement a low-density parity-check (LDPC) code to encode and/or decode bits of a signal. The LDPC code may be defined by a base graph and a lifting scheme. The base graph may include check nodes and variable nodes. The lifting scheme may define a quantity of copies of the base graph used to generate the LDPC code and respective cyclic shifts associated with connected variable nodes and check nodes. The respective cycle shifts may be defined such that one or more cycles associated with a minimum length of the LDPC code are associated with a restriction on second degree variable nodes, nodes associated with least significant bits, or a combination thereof. Additionally, or alternatively, the respective cycle shifts may be defined such that a weighted girth of the LDPC code satisfies a threshold.
