    Abstract: A method and system are provided for a terminal to measure channel quality and transmit channel state information to a base station in a wireless mobile communication system operating in a multi-carrier-based multiple access scheme such as Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA). The feedback information transmission method of a terminal in a mobile communication system includes receiving configuration information corresponding to at least two reference signals from a base station, receiving, at the terminal, feedback configuration information for measuring the at least two reference signals and generating feedback information based on a measurement result, receiving, at the terminal, the at least two reference signals, and transmitting, by the terminal, the feedback information at timings indicated in the feedback configuration information.

    Abstract: An interference measurement method and apparatus for use in a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) is provided. The method for transmitting channel state information based on interference measurement of a terminal in a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) according to the present disclosure includes receiving configuration of Interference Measurement Resource (IMR) for measuring interferences caused by plural Transmission Points (TPs), receiving control information including scheduling information on Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH), determining whether IMR-based interference measurement and PDSCH reception occur at a same subframe, and transmitting the channel state information generated according to a result of the determination. The interference measurement method and apparatus of the present disclosure is capable of measuring interference for efficient communication in the distributed antenna system.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided for communicating with a terminal of a base station in a mobile communication system. Configuration information on a plurality of antenna ports of reference signals (RSs) which comprise first type antenna ports and second type antenna ports, is transmitted. Status information for at least one antenna port of an RS among the plurality of antenna ports of the RSs, is received. At least one indicator indicating at least one selected antenna port of an RS is transmitted based on the status information. The terminal is communicated with using the at least one selected antenna port of the RS. The first type antenna ports are for a centralized antenna and the second type antenna ports are for a distributed antenna.
