    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for determining an application server and an apparatus. The method includes: A first network element obtains a characteristic parameter of a candidate application server. The first network element obtains a network status of a serving link, where the serving link is a link from a terminal to a DN in which the candidate application server is located. The first network element determines a target application server from the candidate application server based on the characteristic parameter of the candidate application server and the network status of the serving link. Therefore, compared with an existing method, in the method in this application, resources in a network can be better used, and the selected target application server can better execute a service of the terminal device, to improve user experience.

    Abstract: A method for obtaining traffic information may be applied to an on-board unit. The method may include: receiving vehicle-to-everything (V2X) information, where the V2X information indicates a first group of lane identifiers and traffic information corresponding to each lane identifier in the first group of lane identifiers, and the first group of lane identifiers includes a first lane identifier; obtaining map information, where the map information indicates that a second lane identifier on a map and the first lane identifier correspond to a same lane; determining that a vehicle is on the lane corresponding to the second lane identifier; determining, based on the map information, that the vehicle is on the lane corresponding to the first lane identifier; and extracting traffic information corresponding to the first lane identifier from the V2X information.

    Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus. In the method, a first network element creates a buffer queue based on a request of a second network element. Further, the first network element collects data of a corresponding type, sends data in the buffer queue to the second network element, and releases corresponding storage space after the second network element completes a data collection task.     Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method, a communications apparatus, and a session management function entity. The method includes obtaining, by a communications apparatus, a correspondence between a quality of service flow identifier of a service flow and an inter-packet time interval of the service flow. The method also includes establishing, by the communications apparatus based on the correspondence, a gate queue used to send a data packet. The method further includes establishing a mapping relationship between the gate queue and the quality of service flow identifier. The method also includes receiving, by the communications apparatus, a data packet from an upper-level sending device of a transmission link. The method further includes if the data packet includes the quality of service flow identifier, periodically scheduling, by the communications apparatus, the data packet based on the gate queue to which the quality of service flow identifier is mapped.
