摘要： A semiconductor light-emitting device includes: a printed-wiring board 3; a light-emitting diode element 2 mounted on the printed-wiring board 3; and a resin body for sealing the light-emitting diode element 2. The resin body is composed of a first resin body 7 arranged around the light-emitting diode element 2, and a second resin body 8 which seals the light-emitting diode 2 and the first resin body 7. An upper edge of the first resin body 7 disposed at a lower position of the junction is configured to be at least on or beyond an imaginary line that connects the junction and a lower edge of the second resin body.

摘要： A multifunction speaker comprises a frame made of an insulation material and having a terminal supporting portion, a pair of supporting springs are partly embedded in the frame. A magnetic circuit is resiliently supported in the frame by the springs, a diaphragm is secured to the frame, a coil is secured to the diaphragm, an upper metal protector and a lower metal protector are set on the frame. The upper and lower protectors are secured to each other so as to shield the frame except the terminal supporting portion of the frame, a pair of terminals are provided on the terminal supporting portion, each of the terminals is connected to an end of the coil, and a ground terminal is provided on the terminal supporting portion and is connected to either of the upper and lower protectors.

摘要： A substrate is prepared that includes substrate segments arranged in series in the X and Y directions. The substrate segments are respectively provided with circuit patterns on its one side and electrodes on the other side. Sets of IC devices including bobbins are mounted on the sides with the circuit patterns of the respective substrates. A conductor is wound around the bobbins successively to form the windings. Portions of the conductor extending between the adjacent windings are pressed against and connected to the circuit patterns to form leading and trailing ends of the windings connected to the circuit patterns. Thereafter, the substrate is severed to provide surface-mount coil packages each comprising the circuit board and the set of IC devices including the coil.

摘要： A double-sided emitting backlight unit has a first light-emitting surface for illuminating a first liquid crystal display panel disposed to face the first light-emitting surface, a second light-emitting surface provided parallel to the first light-emitting surface to illuminate a second liquid crystal display panel that is smaller than the first liquid crystal display panel and disposed to face the second light-emitting surface, and a peripheral surface extending between the first and second light-emitting surfaces and each groove having a light-receiving surface that receives light from a light source. The second light-emitting surface is a prism surface provided with a multiplicity of grooves extending parallel to the light-receiving surface and having a triangular section. The grooves in a part of the second light-emitting surface that corresponds to the second liquid crystal display panel in a direction perpendicular to the light-receiving surface are larger than the grooves in the rest of the second light-emitting surface in terms of at least one factor selected from among the following: the depth of the grooves; the angle between the second light-emitting surface and an inclined surface of each groove extending from the second light-emitting surface to the apex of the triangular section in a direction away from the light-receiving surface; and the number of grooves per unit length in the direction perpendicular to the light-receiving surface. With this configuration, the quantity of light per unit area emitted from a part of the first light-emitting surface corresponding to the second liquid crystal display panel is larger than that emitted from the rest of the first light-emitting surface.
