    摘要: A coil device includes a core and a coil portion. The core includes a winding core part and a flange part disposed at one end of the winding core part in an axial direction thereof. The coil portion is formed by winding a first wire and a second wire around the winding core part. The flange part includes first and second grooves passed by a leading part of the first wire or the second wire. The first groove extends toward an outside of the flange part. The second groove extends toward the outside of the flange part at an angle differing from that of the first groove.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a coil component including a step of welding a wire to a metal terminal by laser welding capable of making positional displacement of the wire only minimally occur. As a metal terminal, a metal terminal having a connecting portion on which a positioning groove for receiving and positioning a portion of the wire is formed is prepared. The wire is temporarily fixed to the connecting portion in a state where the wire is positioned by being fitted in the positioning groove, and the wire and the metal terminal are welded to each other by irradiating a laser beam. The positioning groove is preferably formed into a V shape in cross section.

    摘要: A voice coil motor includes a coil support, a coil wound on the coil support, and two opposing lower elastic plates disposed on an upper part of the coil support. The outer edge of an upper flange of the coil support has at least two opposing protrusions which are arranged radially. The coil has a head end and a tail end which are respectively wound on the two protrusions. The two lower elastic plates are respectively connected with the coil wound on the two protrusions by welding. To prevent the head end from slanting, the lower elastic plates are mounted on the coil support through the operation of an automation apparatus to be soldered with the coil wound on the protrusions. The connection of the coil and the lower elastic plates is thus firm.

    摘要: An electrical coil assembly utilizing a bimetallic two-piece terminal construction and a method of manufacturing same are provided. The inner terminal structure utilizes a material that aids in the touchless attachment of the fine gauge magnetic wire to the inner terminal structure. The low mass of the inner terminal structure allows for increased winding speeds during the manufacturing process. The outer terminal structure utilizes a material that provides good corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. The inner and outer terminal structures are electrically attached after the winding and electrical attachment process of the fine gauge magnetic wire. The coil and two-piece terminal connectors may then be encapsulated to provide a final electrical coil assembly.
