摘要： Systems and methods of controlling a state of electronic messaging applications are provided. A system detects a launch of a network application via an embedded browser. The network application is associated with a session identifier of a user. The system identifies one or more electronic messaging applications on a client device of the user. The system transmits, responsive to the launch of the network application associated with the session identifier, an instruction to one or more servers managing the one or more electronic messaging applications to control a state of the one or more electronic messaging applications.

摘要： In accordance with the present approach, a collaborative chat system is provided that enables collaborative communication between a user preferring a native chat platform and a different user who communicates using a non-native or third-party chat platform. The user may particularly select various other users to be added to a collaborative chat, regardless of which chat platform the other users have set as their main or preferred communication channel. Indeed, when displaying the various users available to be added to the collaborative chat, the collaborative chat system may display a visual indication or icon that indicates which chat platform the various users are available through. The collaborative chat system or platform may utilize bi-directional communications between the native chat platform and any communicatively coupled third-party chat platforms to link the user with the selected other users within a collaborative chat instance.

The method includes: detecting in the terminal a functional event a consequence of which is a future deactivation of the network interface; sending, by the terminal to a “status update server” an event notification of the deactivation event, which includes an identifier of the user; following receipt of the event notification by the server, determining from the identifier of the user, for each of the communication applications, a specific presence status corresponding to the detected event; sending by the server, to each network platform respectively hosting at least one of the communication applications, a request to update a current presence status of the user for the communication application, with the specific presence status for the communication application.

During the monitoring, upon identifying a portion of the user communications that is relevant to the user, the method provides notifying the user about the portion.
