    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select a selection window after an arrival of a packet. The selection window may be selected based at least in part on a delay budget associated with the packet. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the selection window, a control exclusion zone value. The UE may perform, based at least in part on the control exclusion zone value, a resource selection associated with determining available resources for transmitting a set of transmissions associated with the packet. Numerous other aspects are provided.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a plurality of ratios of free resources in a historical time window using respective control exclusion parameters corresponding to the plurality of ratios of free resources. The UE may determine a particular control exclusion parameter based at least in part on a ratio of free resources, of the plurality of ratios of free resources, satisfying a threshold. The UE may select a resource for a future transmission based at least in part on the particular control exclusion parameter. The UE may reserve the selected resource.     Abstract: In a device to device (D2D) communication scenario such as vehicle to anything (V2X) communications, channel access of a device such as a user equipment (UE) may not be controlled by network devices. Using the disclosed channel access mechanism, a device may autonomously access a channel for transportation related communications. A device may determine to transmit a data packet in a portion of bandwidth. The device may select a listen before talk counter defining a time period to wait before beginning a transmission of the data packet. The device may sense the portion of bandwidth during the time period for transmissions of other UEs occupying frequency resource blocks within the portion of bandwidth. The device may select unoccupied frequency resource blocks within the portion of bandwidth based on the sensing. The device may transmit the data packet on the unoccupied frequency resource blocks after the period of time.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a peer device. The method generates control information to schedule peer-to-peer communication. The control information includes a first portion with a first set of data and a second portion with a second set of data. The method then transmits the first portion of the control information in a first stage using first time and frequency resources. The first portion indicates a control information format of the second portion. The method further transmits the second portion of the control information in a second stage using second time and frequency resources and the indicated control information format.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for communication which may include a transmitting device and at least one receiving device. In one aspect, the transmitting device may determine a transmission configuration including one or more aggregated transmission intervals for communicating with the receiving device. The transmitting device may also indicate the transmission configuration to the receiving device. Additionally, the transmitting device can transmit at least one data packet to the receiving device based on the transmission configuration. Further, the transmission configuration can indicate a number of the one or more aggregated transmission intervals. In some aspects, the receiving device can determine a number of aggregated transmission intervals based on the indication. The receiving device can also decode the data packet based on the number of aggregated transmission intervals.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques relating to wireless communications between vehicles. In certain aspects, a method performed by a first vehicle comprises receiving an indication from a second vehicle comprising surrounding information that is indicative of whether a first unknown vehicle is detected by the second vehicle, wherein the first vehicle and the second vehicle are able to communicate wirelessly, and wherein the first unknown vehicle is unable to communicate wirelessly with the first and the second vehicles. The method further comprises controlling movement of the first vehicle based on the indication.
