Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for a user equipment, which is allocated a plurality of serving cells, receiving acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: transmitting uplink data through a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH); and receiving ACK/NACK with respect to the uplink through a physical hybrid-ARQ indicator channel (PHICH), wherein a serving cell that receives the ACK/NACK is selected from one or more serving cells, which the user equipment monitors to detect an uplink grant that schedules the PUSCH.

Abstract: Provided is a method of transmitting ACK/NACK in a TDD-based wireless communication system. The method includes: receiving M downlink subframes associated with an uplink subframe n in each of two serving cells; determining four candidate resources based on the M downlink subframes received in each of the two serving cells; and transmitting an ACK/NACK response for the M downlink subframes by using one resource selected from the four candidate resources in the uplink subframe n, wherein the two serving cells includes a first serving cell and a second serving cell, and wherein among the four candidate resources, a first resource and a second resource are associated with a PDSCH or a SPS release PDCCH for releasing semi-persistent scheduling received in the first serving cell, and a third resource and a fourth resources are associated with a PDSCH received in the second serving cell.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting control information are discussed. The method can include generating uplink control information (UCI) and transmitting the UCI through an physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in a subframe, wherein when the subframe is configured for transmission of a scheduling request (SR) and when transmission of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARD)-acknowledgement (ACK) coincides with the subframe, transmission power of the PUCCH is determined based on a number of HARQ-ACK information bits and a SR bit. A value of the SR bit can be determined by whether or not the subframe is configured for a scheduling request.

Abstract: A method and a user equipment for controlling an uplink transmission at in a wireless communications system are discussed, the user equipment being configured with multiple component carriers. The method according to an embodiment includes receiving, from a base station, Radio Resource Control (RRC) configuration information for a channel status information report; and performing a procedure for periodically transmitting channel status information to the base station. If the corresponding downlink component carrier is in an active state at a time for transmitting the channel status information, a transmission of the channel status information report is performed at the time. If the corresponding downlink component carrier is in a non-active state at a time for transmitting the channel status information report, the transmission of the channel status information report is skipped at the time. Signal reception is limited by the user equipment on a downlink component carrier in the non-active state.

Abstract: A method for configuring an acknowledgement for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ), and a user equipment therefore are discussed. The method according to one embodiment includes receiving downlink data through one of first and second downlink component carriers; and determining a resource used for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). The resource used for the PUCCH is determined based on a downlink component carrier. If downlink data is received through the first downlink component carrier, the resource used for the PUCCH is determined by using a control channel element (CCE) of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). If the downlink data is received through the second downlink component carrier, the resource used for the PUCCH is determined by using a radio resource control (RRC) message. The method according to the embodiment further includes transmitting an acknowledgement (ACK)/negative-acknowledgement (NACK) signal for the downlink data using the resource used for the PUCCH.

When a PUCCH resource used for transmitting only periodic CSI from a subframe, the resource is a first resource, and a resource indicated by ARI is a second resource, when a setting allows transmitting together ACK/NACK and the periodic CSI through a PUCCH from the same subframe, the first resource and the second resource are mutually exclusive, and the second resource that is used for transmitting together the ACK/NACK and the periodic CSI uses the resource indicated by the ARI from resources determined by an RRC.

Abstract: A method of adjusting a transmit power for signals in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) sets a first transmit power for a first signal and a second transmit power for a second signal. If a total transmit power of the first transmit power for the first signal and the second transmit power for the second signal exceeds a maximum transmit power, the UE scales the first transmit power for the first signal and the second transmit power for the second signal. The first transmit power for the first signal and the second transmit power for the second signal are scaled with a scaling factor parameter. Values of the scaling factor parameter are the same across a plurality of serving cells.

Abstract: A method for controlling transmission powers by a communication apparatus in a wireless communication system supporting a plurality of component carriers, the method includes controlling transmission powers for one or more channels per each component carrier in such a way that a total transmission power of one or more channels in a corresponding component carrier does not exceed a maximum transmission power configured for the corresponding component carrier; when a simultaneous transmission of a sounding reference symbol (SRS) on a first component carrier, and a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) on a second component carrier is scheduled, checking whether a total transmission power of the SRS, the PUSCH and PUCCH exceeds a maximum transmission power configured for the communication apparatus; and dropping a transmission of the SRS if the total transmission power of the SRS, the PUSCH and PUCCH exceeds the maximum transmission power configured for the communication apparatus.
