摘要: A computer-implemented method includes receiving, from an application framework, a set of tasks, a throughput requirement for each task of the set of tasks, and a set of active connections for a radio network comprising a Wi-Fi radio and a Zigbee radio. The computer-implemented method also includes determining, using the set of tasks, the throughput requirement for each task of the set of tasks, and the set of active connections, a target Wi-Fi radio duty cycle and setting the Wi-Fi radio to operate at the target Wi-Fi radio duty cycle. The computer-implemented method further includes monitoring, using a monitoring unit, air time statistics associated with the Wi-Fi radio, determining, using the air time statistics, a measured Wi-Fi duty cycle, and adjusting Wi-Fi radio settings to decrease a difference between the target Wi-Fi duty cycle and the measured Wi-Fi duty cycle.

摘要: In some implementations, a first network device may receive an authorization request associated with a user device connecting to a network associated with first network device. The first network device may redirect the authorization request toward a second network device associated with a second service provider. The first network device may determine, based on a response to the authorization request, that the user device is subscribed to a service provided by the second service provider and that the user device is not authorized to connect to the network. The first network device may provide a temporary service to the user device to enable the user device to connect to the network for a limited period based on the user device being subscribed to the service provided by the second service provider and the user device not being authorized to connect to the network.

摘要: This application describes a phased approach to provision eSIM profiles to a wireless device. Credentials are preloaded to an eUICC during manufacture of the eUICC and used subsequently to load eSIM profiles to the eUICC without requiring an active, real-time connection to an MNO provisioning server. Multiple bound profile packages (BPPs) can be pre-generated and encrypted by MNO provisioning servers for an eUICC and transferred to a BPP aggregator server before assembly of the eUICC in a respective wireless device. A local provisioning server in a manufacturing facility mutually authenticates and connects to the BPP aggregator server to download and store one or more of the encrypted BPPs for later installation on the eUICC. The local provisioning server subsequently mutually authenticates and connects to the eUICC to load at least one of the one or more pre-generated, encrypted BPPs to the eUICC during assembly and/or testing of the wireless device.

摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed for efficient hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process utilization for semi-persistent and dynamic data transmissions, wherein a reserved HARQ process identification (ID) can be reused. A subset of a plurality of HARQ process IDs is reserved to use for a semi-persistent allocation, and data is transmitted based on the semi-persistent allocation. A dynamic allocation is received via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). At least one of the reserved HARQ process IDs is selectively used for transmitting data based on the dynamic allocation.

摘要: Apparatus and methods for providing multi-tier quasi-licensed spectrum wireless service via a common wireless access node such as a small-cell. In one embodiment, the quasi-licensed system utilizes multi-sector antennae to create antenna lobes adaptively according to parameters associated with different cell sectors, such as user traffic, random access requests, and/or interference. In one variant, when the user traffic or interference is determined to be very high in a particular sector, the sector is configured and activated based on the availability of low-noise spectrum. In another variant, when a new sector is created, the electrical power resources available for that sector are checked, and based on the amount of power available at that sector, either CBSD Category A or B status is allocated to that sector.

摘要: There are provided a method and apparatus for delivering transport characteristics of multimedia data. According to an aspect of the present invention, transport characteristics of media data that can be divided in a unit of a Media Processing Unit (MPU) are created in a unit of a predetermined number of MPUs, the created transport characteristics and a flag indicating presence or absence of the created transport characteristics are inserted into the media data, and the resultant media data is delivered. Accordingly, by using transport characteristics in units of media data unit groups, each media data unit corresponding to a short time length, it is possible to effectively control Quality of Service (QoS) in a dynamically changing transport environment, like a mobile network.
