摘要: Methods, apparatuses and systems are described herein for harmonizing firmware among lighting units of a lighting system. In some embodiments, a lighting unit controller of a lighting unit may be configured to: broadcast, to a plurality of remote lighting units of the lighting system, data indicative of a version of the firmware used locally; receive, directly or indirectly from at least one remote lighting unit of the lighting system, data indicative of a version of firmware used by the at least one remote lighting unit; determine that the version of firmware used by the at least one remote lighting unit is different from a version of the firmware stored in the memory; and take remedial action to harmonize the firmware stored in the memory with the firmware used by the remote lighting unit.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for use in conjunction with a standardized electrical connector of a conventional light bulb or tube with one or more light emitting diodes (LEDs) electrically coupled to at least one electrical connector compatible with a conventional light connector, wherein the LEDs include at least one multiband-type ultra-wideband (UWB) transceiver having one or more optical channels defined using one or more OFDM bands; and a controller coupled to the LEDs, the controller adjusting LED light output and communicating with the optical network using the optical transmitter and receiver. In other embodiments, the LEDs include at least one optical transmitter and receiver optically coupled to an optical network using at least one LED with a first mode to generate light and a second mode to receive optical transmissions using ambient light.

摘要: Provided is a circuit for controlling a level of brightness of a light electrically coupled to a dimming circuit including control leads configured to provide a dimming control voltage to the dimmable driver, the dimming control voltage having a permissible voltage range. The circuit includes a photo sensor for detecting an ambient light level in the vicinity of the light and a clamp controller for selectively reducing the dimming control voltage to a clamped voltage range less than the permissible voltage range. Also included is a feedback controller for adjusting the dimming control voltage in response to a detected ambient light level, the dimming control voltage being within the clamped voltage range.

The lighting fixture includes a first member (18) that at least partially surrounds or encompasses the presentation object and has a plurality of LED-based light sources (12) which can create a variety of lighting effects based on one or more characteristics of the presentation object. The lighting fixture further has a sensor (34) that detects a characteristic of the presentation object, and a controller (26) connected to the sensor such that, as a result of the individual addressability of the LED-based light sources, create or modify a directional lighting effect based on the detected characteristic.

摘要: A control device for power delivered to electrical loads in a load control system via respective load control devices may comprise a programming user interface for programming the operation of the load control system. The control device may be configured to select one or more load control devices in response to successive actuations of a programming button of the programming interface. The control device may be configured to controllably illuminate visual indicators of the programming interface to indicate which of the load control devices is selected in response to successive actuations of the programming button. The control device may transmit programming information to the load control devices. The programming information may determine which of the load control devices are responsive to a digital message transmitted on the digital communication link.

摘要: Lighting units, lighting systems, and methods are described herein for automatic and decentralized commissioning of a replacement lighting unit (140, 150, 250). In various embodiments, a replacement lighting unit may receive, from one or more remote lighting units over one or more communication networks, one or more identifiers associated with the one or more remote lighting units. The replacement lighting unit may also receive, from at least one of the one or more remote lighting units over the one or more communication networks, the lighting operation parameters associated with an inoperative lighting unit. The replacement lighting unit may then selectively energize one or more light sources (258) associated with the replacement lighting unit to emit light having one or more properties indicated in the lighting operation parameters associated with the inoperative lighting unit.

摘要: A method for a computing device calculates savings information associated with a lighting infrastructure application framework. The method comprises receiving, at the computing device, data from a lighting infrastructure, the data including at least one of sensor data and controller information related to at least one of a sensor and a controller; calculating savings information associated with management and a use of the plurality of lighting node platform devices. One embodiment, the data includes real time energy usage data from a plurality of lighting node platform devices within the lighting infrastructure application framework. The method automatically calculates energy savings information and carbon credit information based on the calculated energy savings information. The energy and carbon credit information are associated with the management and the use of the plurality of lighting node platform devices, and transmits a request for carbon credits based on the calculated carbon credit information.

摘要: A daylighting device according to one aspect of the present invention includes a daylighting member including a first substrate having light transparency and a plurality of daylighting units having light transparency which are provided on a first surface of the first substrate, in which the daylighting unit has a reflective surface which reflects light incident to the daylighting unit, the light which is reflected on the reflective surface and emitted from a second surface of the first substrate has characteristics that the light proceeds toward a space on the same side as the side where the light is incident to the reflective surface among two spaces divided with a virtual plane as a boundary which is vertical to the second surface of the first substrate and parallel to an extension direction of the daylighting unit, and the daylighting member exhibits light absorption characteristics for absorbing a part of the light incident to the plurality of daylighting units.

摘要: A lighting device is disclosed that includes one or more master circuit boards configured to power light emitting diodes. The lighting device also includes modular light boards with arrays of light emitting diodes that interchangeably couple to the matched connectors on the master circuit board. The master circuit boards and the modular light boards are positioned within a housing with one or elongated diffuser lenses covering or embedding rows of light emitting diodes on the modular light boards. In accordance with the embodiments of the invention, master circuit boards and modular light boards are mounted in a stacked arrangement to emit light from opposed sides of the housing. In further embodiments of the invention, the lighting device includes a controller for independently controlling light output from each master circuit board.
