Abstract:
Apparatus, methods, computer readable media and processors operable on a wireless device may manage video calls on a wireless device. A video call management method may include a video call management application operable on the wireless device. The video call management application may be configured with a filtering parameter, which may be applied to a received video call to determine a manner of processing the video call. Based on the filtering, the video call may be processed in any number of predetermined and/or user-defined manners. Further, information relating to the incoming video call may be stored into a call log viewable by the user.
Abstract:
A method and system for providing service menu information when an alerting service is provided between a calling terminal and a called terminal are provided. For this includes transmitting, by a calling terminal, a call setup request message including a service menu request; comparing, by a first server, service capability information of the calling terminal with service capability information of a called terminal, when it is necessary to evaluate the service capability information of the calling and called terminals, upon receipt of the call setup request message; and providing, by the first server, service menu to the calling and called terminals according to the comparison.
Abstract:
The disclosed method provides audio location perception to an endpoint in a multipoint videoconference by providing a plurality of audio streams to the endpoint, wherein each of the audio streams corresponds to one of the loudspeakers at the endpoint. The audio streams are differentiated so as to emphasize broadcasting of the audio streams through one or more loudspeakers closest to a position of a speaking endpoint in a videoconference layout that is displayed at the endpoint. For example, the audio broadcast at a loudspeaker that is at a far-side of the screen might be attenuated or time delayed compared to audio broadcast at a loudspeaker that is located at a near-side of the display. The disclosure also provides a multipoint control unit (MCU) that processes audio signals from two or more endpoints according to the positions in a layout of the endpoints and then transmits processed audio streams to the endpoints in a way that allows endpoints to broadcast spatially correlated audio.
Abstract:
Video content is delivered in a bandwidth efficient manner to a destination device. The video content is analyzed and a compression operation is performed on the video content prior to delivery to the destination device. Any audio associated with the video content is maintained in synchronization with the video content. The compression of the video can be performed in a variety of manners including single transmission of static frames, combining substantially similar frames so that only a single frame representing the combination is transmitted, and only transmitting dynamically changing or active portions of the video content.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus are provided for presenting default content to a caller when a media stream of the specified type is not available. If it is determined that a destination endpoint is not providing a media stream of a first media type to an originating endpoint, a transmission of default media of the first media type to the originating endpoint is initiated.
Abstract:
An A/V telecommunication device including a network connection, a telecommunications processor connected to the network connection, and a video processor connected to the network connection may include an integrated incentive promotion manager connected to said telecommunication processor.
Abstract:
An information appliance including a network connection, a telecommunications processor connected to the network connection to provide two-way communication and a video processor connected to the network connection. An optical reader is connected to the network connection. A request signal is sent to a server via the network connection in response to the optical reader reading a code. An associated provider sends content to said information appliance in response to the received request signal. A system for providing on-screen management of content delivery to an audio-video telecommunications terminal including a network connection, a telecommunications processor connected to the network connection and a video processor connected to the network connection. A display on the telecommunications terminal is connected to the video processor. The display provides visual displays for programming the delivery of content to the video processor via the network.
Abstract:
An information appliance including a network connection, a telecommunications processor connected to the network connection, and a video processor connected to the network connection includes a wireless transceiver connected to said video processor and a digital image device communicably connected to said wireless transceiver.
Abstract:
A method of presenting promotional content on an A/V telecommunication device including a network connection, a telecommunications processor connected to the network connection, and a video processor connected to the network connection, may be performed by providing first promotional content to a television at a predetermined time and providing related promotional content to the A/V telecommunication device at about the same time.
Abstract:
An A/V telecommunication device including a network connection, a telecommunications processor connected to the network connection, a video processor connected to the network connection may include an integrated network radio receiver communicably connected to the network connection to receive network radio broadcast signals over the network.
