Abstract:
Systems, devices, and techniques for multiple device and multiple line enabled computing devices and computing appliances are described herein. A device number can be assigned to a computing device and can be unique to the computing device. A plurality of alias numbers can be provided to the computing device and enabled for use by the computing device. Alias numbers can be enabled on multiple computing appliances, such that a user can transfer voice or video calls between devices using the alias numbers. Further, monitoring components in a home environment, for example, can be associated with one or more alias number so that security alerts can be provided to the various computing devices and computing appliances associated with the alias numbers.

Abstract:
Voice data communication is performed appropriately depending on the purposes of use. Provided is a wearable device including a microphone (172), a speaker (174), an input voice data acquisition unit (510) configured to acquire input voice data from the microphone (174), an output voice data providing unit (520) configured to provide output voice data to the speaker (172), a communication unit (530) configured to perform communication sessions for allowing the input voice data and the output voice data to be transmitted and received in accordance with a hands-free profile of Bluetooth between the communication unit and a smartphone (200), and a controller (540) configured to invalidate a session triggered by the smartphone (200) among the communication sessions.Representative DrawingFIG. 3
Abstract:
An audio system for an aircraft of the type which includes radiocommunications units and a management unit to which are connected by cables, pieces of audio equipment. Each audio equipment piece includes a generator which, under control of the control unit, is configured to generate a pulsed coded audio signal and inject the signal into a same cable as that used for conveying the audio signals coming from the audio unit of the audio equipment, each code formed by a pulsed coded audio signal being representative of a piece of audio equipment. The audio system includes a decoder for receiving and decoding a coded audio signal generated by a piece of audio equipment and for generating a logic control signal to activate the radiocommunications unit which has previously been associated with the audio equipment represented by the code of the coded audio signal received and decoded.
Abstract:
A method for controlling media presentation during a teleconference. The method generally includes the steps of coupling a buffer operatively to a host device and a participant device, storing media information associated with the teleconference in the buffer and directing playback of the media information from the buffer to the participant device. The host device is associated with a host of the teleconference and the host thereby enables playback of the stored media information to a participant other than the host.
Abstract:
A method of notifying an operation state change of a device is provided. The method includes receiving a message by a first device; identifying, by the first device, that a second device is currently connected to the first device through a network; and transmitting, by the first device, information regarding the message to the second device. The information is displayed on a display unit of the second device.
Abstract:
Provided is a communication control apparatus including: a selection unit that uses information related to one or more terminal apparatuses operable as an access point for a small cell to select a protection target cell to be protected from interference caused by a new small cell newly configured, among one or more existing cells; and a control unit that gives an instruction of an operation of the new small cell to the at least one terminal apparatus existing at a position determined in a manner that interference to each of the protection target cells selected by the selection unit does not exceed an allowable level.
Abstract:
Described herein are techniques for allowing a customer support agent to remotely analyze a television receiver. A television receiver is communicatively coupled to a customer support center through a communication network. A customer support agent remotely accesses the television receiver and the television receiver transmits video content to the customer support center through the communication network. The video output is outputted to the customer support agent at the customer support center for analysis of the television receiver.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein, among other things, are apparatus and methods for interactive property communication. In various embodiments, an interactive property communication system includes two or more property communication nodes (PCNs) each adapted for coupling to an electrical service. PCNs include a radio transceiver for communications with a broker service adapted for controlling communications with one or more PCNs.
Abstract:
A method of notifying an operation state change of a device is provided. The method includes forming a network including at least one device that is used by a user and that performs network communication; and when the operation state change of one of the at least one device in the network occurs, transmitting information regarding the operation state change of the one of the at least one device to another one of the at least one device. The information is displayed on a display unit of the another one of the at least one device.
