Abstract: There are provided an array substrate and a display apparatus. The array substrate comprises a voltage driving circuit (1) for driving display pixels to display images, a current sensing circuit (2), and further comprises test pixels (3), a current comparison circuit (4), and a voltage compensation circuit (5), wherein the current sensing circuit (2) is connected to the test pixels (3) and the current comparison circuit (4), and the current comparison circuit (4) is connected to the voltage compensation circuit (5); the current comparison circuit (4) compares the current value of the current sensed by the current sensing circuit and flowing through the test pixels (3) with a set threshold, and outputs the comparison result to the voltage compensation circuit (5); and the voltage compensation circuit (5) compensates for the driving voltage of the voltage driving circuit (1) when the current value is smaller than the set threshold. The array substrate can compensate for the current of the display pixels to avoid occurrence of the pixel degradation.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display is provided which can avoid degradation of picture quality by preventing deviations in parasitic capacitance between a data line and a pixel electrode. The liquid crystal display includes data lines and gate lines, compensation patterns covering the data lines, thin film transistors disposed at regions neighbored to crossings of the data and gate lines, pixel electrodes disposed in pixel regions defined by the crossings and respectively connected to the thin film transistors; and a common electrode disposed to overlap the pixel electrodes, One edge of each of the compensation patterns is spaced apart from the pixel electrodes by a predetermined distance.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a gate driving circuit, a gate driving method, and a display apparatus. The gate driving circuit comprises a driving control unit and a gate signal generation unit, wherein the driving control unit is configured to generate a driving control signal corresponding to a respective display pattern, and the gate signal generation unit is connected to the driving control unit and is configured to generate a multi-order gate voltage in response to the driving control signal generated by the driving control unit, wherein duration of a low order voltage included in the generated multi-order gate voltage corresponds to the respective display pattern. The gate driving circuit according to the present disclosure can achieve driving for display by using a multi-order gate voltage having a low order voltage in long duration when the corresponding display apparatus is in a flicker pattern, so as to eliminate image flicker.

Abstract: A display unit includes: a display section having an electrophoretic display device provided among a plurality of first electrodes and a second electrode, and displaying an image by switching a white, black, or gray-scale display state depending on an applied voltage; and a drive circuit driving the display section by varying a voltage applied to the first electrodes, while holding the second electrode at a common potential during a write period including frame period(s). When a first region of the display section has a first display state of white or black during a first write period, and an image of a second region thereof is changed while holding the first display state at the first region upon switchover from the first write period to a temporally-continued second write period, the drive circuit offsets the common potential toward a direction in which a voltage applied to the first region is raised.
