摘要： A rotating cylindrical treatment apparatus includes a cylindrical body rotatably supported in the treatment apparatus; a feeding section for supplying a treated material onto an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body; a pressure roller for pressing the supplied treated material and for rolling the pressed treated material; a first medium introducing device for introducing a heating or cooling medium into the cylindrical body and for discharging the introduced medium; a second medium introducing device for introducing the medium into the pressure roller and for discharging the introduced medium; and an endless belt for conveying the rolled treated material while causing the rolled treated material to be closely contacted with the outer circumferential surface. The second medium introducing device has an introducing pipe with a spraying nozzle pipe attached thereto, the nozzle pipe projecting into the interior of the pressure roller body and including a spraying port in the projecting end face formed to spray the medium at an obtuse angle around the pressure roller body central axis, and a discharging pipe including a suction port immersed in the medium at the pressure roller body lower portion.

摘要： A rotating cylindrical treatment apparatus for accomplishing rolling and heat-treatment of a treated material continuously and with high reliability. The apparatus includes a deviation detecting device provided at a suitable position for detecting deviation of an endless belt to generate a signal and an axis inclination structure for varying an inclination of at least one of belt support rollers depending upon the signal generated from the deviation detecting device, so that the deviation may be automatically corrected without interrupting the operation of the apparatus.

摘要： The invention relates to stretching of a continuous web of a thermoplastic sheet, such as polyvinyl butyral sheet, having straight longitudinal edges into an arcuate form to use it as an interlayer of curved and laminated windshields of vehicles. Usually the web has a colored band to serve as a glare shield band along its one longitudinal edge. First the web travels vertically downward and is heated from its both sides by a vertical heater to produce a gradient of temperature across the width of the web such that the temperature at the web edge remote from the colored band becomes higher than the temperature at the opposite edge. Under longitudinal tension the heated web is passed around a first heated tapered roll and then around a second heated tapered roll having a higher temperature. Over these tapered rolls the web edge remote from the colored band is located relatively near the large diameter end of each tapered roll. The web stretched by the two heated rolls is successively passed over a plurality of cooled tapered rolls. By this method the web is smoothly stretched into a desired arcuate form without appearance of defects such as wrinkles or streaks on the stretched web.

摘要： The apparatus comprises a work surface heated by a heat carrier medium and located upon a heat-conducting layer carried by a metallic base body. The base body is provided with grooves at its surface confronting the heat-conducting layer and/or this heat-conducting layer is provided at its surface confronting the base body with grooves. The work surface is heated by infeeding the heat carrier medium into the grooves. To influence heat transfer to the heat-conducting layer carrying the work surface, particularly to a sheet metal plating or the like, for instance a cylinder jacket seated in direct metallic contact or only through the intermediate disposition of a transition layer of good thermal conductivity, upon the base body, there are provided control means regulating heat conduction from the base body to the heat-conducting layer and/or from the heat carrier medium guided in the grooves to the base body or the heat-conducting layer. This is accomplished by advantageously designing the confronting surfaces of the base body and heat-conducting layer, to possess recesses or supplementary grooves, different roughenings of the base body surface, additional lengthwise and/or transverse grooves in the base body surface or in the surface of the heat-conducting layer confronting the base body surface, or insulation strips.

摘要： An article made of a rigid plastic such as ABS and having a grained surface, is made by extruding the plastic to a preliminary shape in which the surface to be grained is planar, cooling the surface of the extrusion and passing it between graining and pressure rolls arranged and driven so as to prevent a loss in shape of the extrusion prior to and during the performance of the graining operation. Preferably, the plastic is extruded oversize, and the graining and pressure rolls perform their shaping function by a drawing action which reduces the size of the extrusion. The grained extrusion is then passed through cooling and forming means which establish the final configuration and size of the article.
