    摘要: A double spindle grinding machine has a pair of grinding spindles mounted on feed tables for performing two independent grinding operations. A pair of work spindles for holding workpieces to be ground are rotatably mounted on a supporting frame which undergoes angular displacement in forward and reverse directions through an arc of 180.degree. to alternately position the workpieces held by the two spindles opposite alternate ones of the two grinding spindles. A swing shaft is connected to the supporting frame and is alternately driven in forward and reverse directions to displace the supporting frame to extreme forward and reverse positions so as to alternately position the workpieces in opposed relation to alternate ones of the grinding spindles. A clamping device coacts with the supporting frame to releasably clamp the frame in either extreme position, and the clamping device includes a pair of vertically slidable clamp rods connected through a linkage to a reciprocal fluid motor which effects upward and downward movement of the clamp rods between unclamping and clamping positions. A clamp block is secured to each clamp rod and coacts with a clamp member secured to the supporting frame to releasably clamp the frame in the extreme forward and reverse positions in response to actuation of the fluid motor to drive the clamp rods to the clamping positions.

    摘要: A device for detecting short-circuit between electrodes in electrolytic cells constituting an electrolytic plant in which a plurality of switch elements turned on and off under control of an external magnetic field are disposed to be vertically movable toward and away from the current collecting end portions of the individual anodes or cathodes in the electrolytic cells. These switch elements are moved downward to detect occurrence of short-circuit between the electrodes in one of the electrolytic cells, and when no short-circuit is detected in this electrolytic cells, the switch elements are automatically conveyed to the detecting position on the next electrolytic cell.

    摘要: A mechanical pencil having a rotational drive mechanism which gradually rotates a writing lead on application of writing pressure and allowing rotational operation of the writing lead to be known reliably. First and second cam faces 6a and 6b are respectively formed at one end face and the other end face of a rotor 6 in an axial direction, and first and second fixed cam faces 13a and 14a arranged on the body cylinder side so as to respectively face the first and the second cam faces are provided to form the rotational drive mechanism for the writing lead. A plurality of grooves 8a in the axial direction are formed at a slider 8 of a pipe end 7 which projects forwardly from a body cylinder 1. Therefore, the user can see the grooves 8a (provided for the slider 8) rotated by rotation of the rotor 6.

In a structure in which a frame includes a load-carrying platform, and wall portions are provided in the outer periphery of the loading portion of the load-carrying platform with recesses being provided in the inner wall surfaces of the wall portions. Hooks for securing the load in place are provided in the respective recesses so as to fit within the inner wall surfaces of the wall portions.
