    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for receiving a plurality of requests, from a plurality of user equipments (UEs), to exit a parking area comprising a plurality of vehicles, wherein each of the plurality of UEs is associated with a corresponding vehicle of the plurality of vehicles, determining an exit order for the plurality of vehicles to exit the parking area, and transmitting, to the plurality of UEs, a plurality of exit commands, based on the exit order, for the plurality of vehicles to exit the parking area.

    Abstract: Using a modulation and coding scheme for a control channel that is more conservative than needed to fulfill the control function may waste resources. To address this issue, a variable size control channel is provided. An apparatus in such a system may be configured to determine an aggregation level of a plurality of aggregation levels associated with a control channel. Each aggregation level of the plurality of aggregation levels is associated with a number of time-frequency resources dedicated for the control channel and a particular modulation and coding scheme used for modulating and coding control information in the control channel. The apparatus is configured to receive control information in the time-frequency resources associated with the aggregation level and decode the control information received in the time-frequency resources associated with the determined aggregation level. The decoding is based on the particular modulation and coding scheme associated with the determined aggregation level.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to device-to-device (D2D) and, more particularly, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication in which an efficient ranging protocol allows efficient ranging-assisted vehicle positioning. A vehicle transmits a first slot ID in a first control period, to indicate a first time slot for transmitting a first ranging signal in a ranging cycle including a plurality of time slots. The vehicle transmits the first ranging signal in the first time slot in the ranging cycle. From a second vehicle, the first vehicle receives a second ranging signal in a second time slot that is different from the first time slot in the ranging cycle. The first vehicle determines a first time-of-arrival (ToA) of the second ranging signal when received by the first vehicle, and transmits the first ToA in a second control period.

    Abstract: Improvements may be made for an apparatus performing congestion control considering different technologies, types of radio resources, and priorities of different packets. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE determines a channel busy ratio (CBR). The UE determines one or more channel resource utilization limits based on the CBR, where each channel resource utilization limit of the one or more channel resource utilization limits corresponds to a respective packet priority. The one or more channel resource utilization limits are also a function of a CBR limit.     Abstract: A method, computer-readable medium, and apparatus operate to reduce or eliminate interference with one or more other communication systems having specific transmission requirements within a specific geographic area. For example, aspects operate by determining that a user equipment (UE) is in a protection zone where additional transmission requirements apply. The additional transmission requirements enable coexistence with one or more other communication systems in the protection zone. The UE may identify, based on being in the protection zone and a coexistence mode, one or more transmit emission limit requirements to be met. The UE may identify, based on being in the protection zone and the coexistence mode, one or more maximum transmit power requirements to be met. The UE may configure a transmit output power, at which the UE can meet the one or more transmit emission limit requirements and the one or more maximum transmit power requirements.
