Abstract: In an aspect, a vehicle apparatus of a vehicle obtains, based on sensor data from one or more vehicle sensors communicatively coupled to the vehicle, intra-lane position data relative to the vehicle, the intra-lane position data indicating at least one lateral distance between at least one side of a primary vehicle and at least one lane reference point. The vehicle apparatus transmits the intra-lane position data to one or more neighboring entities. In another aspect, a vehicle management device obtains intra-lane position data that indicates at least one lateral distance between at least one side of at least one observed vehicle of a plurality of neighboring vehicles and at least one lane reference point, and instructs at least one vehicle of the plurality of neighboring vehicles to perform one or more actions based on the intra-lane position data.

Abstract: Aspects relate to mechanisms for sidelink reservation across frequency bands. In some examples, a sidelink device may be configured to communicate over a first frequency band (e.g., a sub-6 gigahertz frequency band) and a second frequency band (e.g., a millimeter wave frequency band) with one or more other sidelink devices. The sidelink device may further be configured to perform cross-link resource reservation for a sidelink transmission in which a resource reservation message transmitted on the first frequency band indicates reserved resources within the second frequency band for the sidelink transmission. The sidelink device may then transmit sidelink control information (SCI) within a sidelink control channel on the second frequency band and user data traffic corresponding to the SCI within a sidelink data channel on the second frequency band.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a first user equipment (UE) performs a limited beam sweep of one or more transmit beams on a second frequency band in an estimated direction from the first UE to the second UE, wherein the estimated direction is based on one or more parameters received over a previously established signaling radio bearer (SRB) on a first frequency band and/or a device-to-device discovery procedure performed on the first frequency band, receives, over the SRB, a confirmation that a data radio bearer (DRB) has been established on the second frequency band with at least one transmit beam of the one or more transmit beams, and sends, to the second UE, a data flow over the DRB on the second frequency band using the at least one transmit beam.

In an aspect, a first user equipment (UE) establishes a radio resource control (RRC) connection for a communication session with a second UE, establishes a signaling radio bearer (SRB) for the communication session with the second UE on a first frequency band, sends, to the second UE over the SRB on the first frequency band, a first RRC message to establish a data radio bearer (DRB) for the communication session on a second frequency band, the first RRC message including one or more parameters for establishing the DRB on the second frequency band, and configures the DRB on the second frequency band based on the one or more parameters in the first RRC message and/or a device-to-device discovery procedure performed in the first frequency band.

Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for vehicle emergency vehicle-to-anything (V2X) notification based on sensor fusion are presented. In some embodiments, a vehicle may receive an indication of an issue or impairment of the vehicle or an occupant of the vehicle, including the driver. Using information from sensors within the vehicle, an on-board processor may determine the nature of the impairment. Information about the nature of the impairment may then be transmitted, using V2X notification, to neighboring vehicles and/or an infrastructure entity (e.g., a base station, a roadside unit, a radio tower, and/or a central application server). The neighboring vehicles may then negotiate using V2X communication with the impaired vehicle and the other neighboring vehicles and/or be directed by the infrastructure entity to proceed using a negotiated course of action that accounts for the nature of the impairment in the impaired vehicle.
