Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a target user equipment (UE) receives, from a relay UE over a sidelink channel between the target UE and the relay UE, downlink control information (DCI) for a communication session between the target UE and a network entity, wherein the sidelink channel indicates search space information for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) between the target UE and the network entity carrying the DCI, and communicates with the network entity using a resource allocation granted by the DCI for a physical downlink channel, a physical uplink channel, or both between the target UE and the network entity based on the DCI and the search space information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may indicate timing alignment factors in support of timing alignment adjustments by a base station or one or more transmission reception points (TRPs). Such timing adjustments may be in the context of cooperative beamforming and may relate to the timing with which the TRPs transmit respective instances of downlink transmissions to the UE. In some cases, the UE may report absolute timing alignment factors to support such timing alignment adjustments. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may report relative timing alignment factors, for example compared to signals received from a reference TRP, to support such timing alignment adjustments.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may monitor for sidelink messages among multiple UEs using transmission-side sensing. The first UE may monitor for sidelink messages over a transmit beam selected for transmitting data from the first UE. The first UE may receive, from a second UE, a sidelink message including an indication of resources reserved for sidelink transmissions to the second UE. Based on the indication, the first UE may select available resources over which to transmit data. The first UE may receive the sidelink message over a sidelink feedback channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for resource allocation in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network. A relay node in an IAB network may be assigned a first resource partition that is different from a second resource partition for the child and parent nodes. Based on a resource configuration (e.g., for a slot) of the second resource partition, the relay node may opportunistically utilize the second resource partition for communications. For instance, the relay node may determine a direction table based on the resource configurations of the child and parent nodes, which may be used to perform uplink or downlink communications in one or more symbols of the second resource partition. The relay node may also identify flexible symbols as free or non-free when determining the direction table.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for a selection of one or more transmission and reception points (TRPs) within a multi-TRP system. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of the selected TRPs and an indication of one or more beams that the selected TRPs may use to communicate with the UE based on a mismatch between a default operating frequency (DOF) of each TRP within the multi-TRP system and a DOF of the UE. For example, the UE may receive an indication of a DOF of each antenna port of the TRPs within the multi-TRP system and the UE may compare the indicated DOFs with a DOF of each antenna module of the UE. The UE may select to communicate with TRPs and select one or more ports that the selected TRPs may use to communicate with the UE based on the comparison.

Abstract: A configuration for inter-cell interference coordination in wireless communication systems. The apparatus determines a priority order of a first base station to schedule a first transmission with a first UE. The apparatus transmits a first transmission request to the first UE to schedule the first transmission. The apparatus receives, from the first UE, a measurement report based on the first transmission request received by the first UE, the measurement report indicates a signal quality of the first transmission request. The apparatus determines to schedule the first transmission with the first UE based at least on the measurement report. The apparatus sends a schedule indication to at least a second base station indicating whether the first transmission is scheduled with the first UE, at least the second base station has a lower priority order than the first base station.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may be associated with a reconfigurable surface for reflecting transmissions between second and third UEs (e.g., over sidelink resources). In one example, the first UE may transmit signaling indicating that retransmissions of a first message transmitted between a second and third UE and detected by the first UE may be reflected by the reconfigurable surface associated with the first UE. In another example, the first UE may receive a request from a second UE for signal enhancement using a reconfigurable surface, the request associated with a future transmission by the second UE to a third UE. In either case, the UE may determine to perform signal enhancement using a reconfigurable surface and may then reconfigure the reconfigurable surface for reflecting transmissions or retransmissions from the second UE to the third UE.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to dynamic antenna array reconfiguration and signaling in millimeter wave bands. A user equipment (UE) may detect an antenna array change condition. The UE may transmit a request for beam training for an antenna array configuration in response to the detecting. The request for beam training may include a requested antenna array configuration for the UE and an indication of beam weights to use with the requested antenna array configuration. A base station may determine whether to grant or deny the requested antenna array configuration for the UE. The UE may receive, from the base station, an indication of an antenna array configuration for the UE. The base station may transmit the number of reference signals as a set of contiguous channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS). The UE may train the reconfigured active antenna array configuration based on the reference signals.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support power headroom differential reporting for reference resource signals transmitted at different transmission power than other uplink transmissions. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes determining a power headroom value, by a user equipment (UE), using a maximum configured transmission power and a transmission power configured for an uplink transmission at a configured modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The UE determines a reference resource signal power headroom value using the maximum configured transmission power and a reference resource signal transmission power configured for a reference resource signal transmission, calculates a reference resource power headroom differential between the power headroom value and the reference resource signal power headroom value, and transmits a report including the uplink transmission power headroom value and the reference resource power headroom differential. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
