Abstract:
Disclosed herein are embodiments for operating a retail photo kiosk and establishing a dedicated access for a remote mobile device to the photo kiosk. Certain embodiments of the photo kiosk incorporate anchored connector cables to connect remote mobile devices to the photo kiosk. According to one embodiment, the photo kiosk detects when a remote mobile device is connected to the kiosk via an anchored connector cable. Upon receiving user information, the photo kiosk generates and sends an access message comprising to the connected mobile device. Following the access message, the user may establish dedicated access to the photo kiosk through the mobile device, which allows the user to utilize and leverage photo processing features of the kiosk.
Abstract:
Described is a system for superimposing images captured in a photo booth onto a selected background that can he used for panics and other events and that includes everything needed to instantaneously provide blue or green screen effects to event participants. The system includes one or more processors and a memory. The memory is a non-transitory computer-readable medium having executable instructions encoded thereon, such that upon execution of the instructions, the one or more processors cause a tablet computer to obtain an image of a participant in front of a chroma-key panel and superimpose the image over a background that is stored in the tablet computer.
Abstract:
A system and method for designing and printing fantasy draft board posters using a client computer communicating with a host computer. The host computer provides a design interface to a user, and the user selects a template design. The template design requires a user to input a variety of client-defined material with a header, and select the number of teams and rounds. The client-defined material is displayed actively on a scratch pad image, and determines the dimensions of the final format of the draft board poster. The final print image file for the poster is then created and printed.
Abstract:
A system and method for optimizing the creation and use of a collaborative digital photo album, to permit the sharing of digital photos among members associated with the collaborative digital album. It refers to a streamlined solution for a photo taking member, designated as a “sending party”, to automatically send a digital photo into the collaborative album with a single action, simultaneously with the taking the photo. It also provides an automated solution for persons associated with the collective digital album, designated as the “receiving parties”, to receive the photos automatically and without having to take any action. All persons associated can act as a “sending party” and also be a “receiving party”, those persons associated with a particular collaborative digital album being considered members of the collaborative group who have agreed to contribute to and/or receive copies of digital photo's placed in their particular collaborative album.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for editing media rich photo projects are disclosed. In one embodiment, the present invention uses drag and drop features to add a photo to a spread, to remove a photo from the spread, and/or to create a new spread. In another embodiment, drop areas are utilized to facilitate addition and removal of photos at an editor. In another embodiment, drop targets are determined by an animated highlight of a drop target, a time delay allowing a user to wait until a drop target is auto-selected by the pre-set rules of the editor, and pre-set rules of a drop target as determined by the location of a drop. Furthermore, drop targets are determined by location coordinates of a photo over the spread before being dropped, proximity of a dragged photo with a photo slot, or a pre-calculated photo slot based on pre-set rules.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes a recognition unit configured to recognize a function included in a communication partner and a determination unit configured to determine processing, which the communication partner performs on transmission data, according to the recognized function and a type of the transmission data.
Abstract:
An image display system includes a transmission unit configured to cause a terminal to transmit images to a server through a network, a storage configured to store the images transmitted by the transmission unit, a layout unit configured to write resized images of the images stored in the storage into a display buffer, and a display control unit configured to display resized images on the terminal, which are in a display region of the display buffer, wherein the display control unit is configured to change a position of the display region such that a first resized image is more frequently displayed than a second resized image.
Abstract:
What is disclosed is a novel method and system to present image content from a variety of informational sources. Presentation from a variety of image sizes and formats, such as standard and panoramic format is possible. The method includes accessing at least two information sources each with separate image content. Next, each of the separate image content is interspersed in an arrangement so that content overlaps in with each other and at least some of the image content is automatically resized to concurrently present image content in a plurality of different image sizes and in a film strip arrangement. The image content is presented from each of the information sources along with the source indicator in a film strip arrangement.
Abstract:
A system for making an image product includes a computer including a processor and a memory, a template stored in the memory, the template including a template graphic and a plurality of openings in the template graphic, an image stored in the memory, and the processor compositing the image into two or more of the plurality of openings, so that two different portions of the image are located in two different openings and the two different portions have the same relative locations in the composition as in the user image.
Abstract:
A display apparatus transmits a picture acquisition request for getting picture information to an external image apparatus connected through a predetermined interface to the display apparatus from the external image apparatus at predetermined intervals and gets a plurality of pieces of picture information from the external image apparatus to be displayed. The plurality of pictures may be switched at predetermined intervals, for example, to be displayed, so that the plurality of pictures may be displayed in a so-called slide show manner. A plurality of pictures for thumbnail may be produced from the plurality of pieces of picture information and be arranged together to be displayed in one picture screen of a display device.
