    摘要: An optical mask includes a light-to-heat conversion layer with an improved temperature profile. The optical masks may comprise a light-transmitting base substrate; a first reflective pattern layer which is formed on the light-transmitting base substrate comprising a first opening portion transmitting light emitted from under the light-transmitting base substrate and a first reflective portion reflecting the light; a second reflective pattern layer which is formed over the first opening portion comprising a second opening portion overlapping a first area of the first opening portion and a second reflective portion overlapping a second area of the first opening portion; and a light-to-heat conversion pattern layer which is formed on the light-transmitting base substrate, being disposed in the first area of the first opening portion, absorbing at least a part of the light, and converting the light absorbed into heat.

    摘要: Provided is an image transfer material, comprising a support, optionally at least one barrier layer, a melt transfer layer, and an image receiving layer. Also provided is a process for preparing the image transfer material. Further provided is a heat transfer process using the disclosed material. In the heat transfer process, after imaging, the image receiving layer and melt transfer layer are peeled away from the optionally barrier-coated support material and placed, preferably image side up, on top of a receptor element. A non-stick sheet is then optionally placed over the imaged peeled material and heat is applied to the top of the optional non stick sheet. The melt transfer layer then melts and adheres the image to the receptor element. A composition comprising: at least one self-crosslinking polymer, and at least one dye retention aid.

    摘要: A latent image printing method and apparatus uses a substrate with one main surface having a covering comprising one of a first pair of a color developer and color former dye defining a background color in conjunction with the one main surface, wherein the color developer and the color former dye react when mixed to produce a first spectral response which is visible relative to the background color and a continuous coating over the covering which is non-porous with respect to the other of the pair and solvent-resistant to the other of the pair. The coating above selected portions of the covering corresponding to a desired latent image is removed.

    摘要: A double-surface heat-sensitive record material is disclosed that provides separable, thermally printed surfaces. The invention includes a first heat-sensitive record surface having an exposed heat-sensitive record layer on one surface, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and release liner on an opposed surface. A second heat-sensitive record surface includes a second heat-sensitive record layer on an exposed surface. This second record surface is secured to the first record surface, by a binder layer, to form a double-surface heat-sensitive record material having opposed, exposed heat-sensitive record layers. A thermal imager or printer can then print on both exposed heat-sensitive record layers. The release liner enables the two record layers to be separated, forming first and second printed surfaces, wherein the first printed surface has an exposed pressure-sensitive adhesive layer so that it can be readily used as a label, while the second printed surface may be used as a receipt.
