摘要:
A printing device for objects, which are continuously moved forward, in particular for parcels, wrapped magazine piles or the like, comprises a transport path, alongside of which the objects can be transported at a defined rate of feed. By means of an adjustable matrix printing head the surface to be printed of the objects can be printed in contactless manner when they pass the printing head. A scanning member, related to the transport direction of the objects, is arranged at a distance before the printing head. The scanning member scans the position of the surface to be printed of the objects and tracks the printing head according to the position of the surface to be printed of the objects by a corresponding control of an adjustment drive of the printing head.

An ink jet head holder supported from a frame and includes a transversely movable rod supporting an ink jet print head with a similar print head holder on the opposite side of the frame. A conveyor for conveying an object having opposed print-receiving surfaces between the print heads. Longitudinal channels are supported by the frame on opposite sides of the conveyor. The print heads are supported on the longitudinal channels and side guide rails are also supported on the channels. The channels are laterally movable to vary the width of the path of packages on the conveyor. The side guide rails are also adjustable laterally relative to the print heads. The print heads have cam faces for contacting the packages at a predetermined transverse distance from the print head nozzles. Biasing means hold the print heads with the cam faces bearing against the print-receiving surfaces that are printed by ink from the nozzles.

An automatic ink jet marking system composed of a nozzle set, an ink supply device and a micro-computer control device which uses a fixed nozzle set to mark a moving object, particularly a system which uses micro-computer to edit, save and retrieve data and to give control signal in reponse to movement of object as detected by a position sensor and a speed sensor to drive a solenoid valve module and consequentially the nozzle module to spray ink for marking via a driver.

A machine for inkjet printing three-dimensional objects, for example gas-filled balls, includes an apparatus having an inkjet print head for inkjet printing an object, an apparatus having at least one sucker for holding the object and an apparatus having a first drive and a second drive for rotating the object about two rotational axes which are different from one another.

A method is disclosed which enables a label that includes lettering or a design desired by the consumer to be easily and rapidly printed onto the surface of a golf ball box or packaging medium with an inkjet printer.
摘要:
A printing method for an ink jet printer to print first density information and second dot density information, including arranging a plurality of print heads including two or more first print heads to have a first angular orientation for printing the first information, and at least a second print head to have a second angular orientation, different from the first angular orientation for printing the second information; printing the first information by the first print heads to obtain the first dot density; and printing the second information by the second print head to obtain the second dot density.

An ink jet printing system comprising a plurality of ink jet printheads each having a matrix of ink jets, each jet having a nozzle constituting a valve seat at its outlet end, the seat having an orifice for ejection of drops of ink, a solenoid-actuated valve member engageable with and disengageable from the seat to close and open the orifice, a controller for each printhead comprising a microcomputer for processing data for actuating the solenoids to print messages and storing the data, a console for all the printheads having a microcomputer for processing data for delivery to the printheads and operable to store data for a plurality of messages, and a terminal for generating data for messages for delivery to the console or, alternately, directly to the printhead controllers for a minimum system.
摘要:
A computer controlled ink jet printing system for printing messages in dot matrix format on objects such as cartons or the like as they move along conveyor lines past printing stations, and which includes one or more print head controls. The system further includes a plurality of print heads, at least one per print station, for discharging ink onto the objects as they move therepast in accordance with a programmed message. Each print head control is capable of controlling print heads at a plurality of stations with the print heads at one station controlled independently of those of another station to print programmed messages at their respective stations. A main controller is linked to each print head control and includes a programmable microprocessor whereby messages may be selected at the main controller for printing by each print head. The selected messages are communicated by the main controller to the print head controls, whereby each print head control independently controls the print heads associated therewith at each of a plurality of print stations to print onto the objects the messages selected at the main controller.

This inkjet printing device comprises a conveyance path by which a sheet to be assembled as a corrugated cardboard box having a plurality of walls is conveyed in a conveyance direction, and inkjet heads that are positioned facing the surface of the sheet in the conveyance path and that can print a printed pattern in predetermined print ranges of an intersecting direction that intersects the conveyance direction along the surface of the sheet. The inkjet heads are positioned so that the print ranges span between first regions, which are intended to be first walls when the sheet is assembled into a corrugated cardboard box, and second regions, which are adjacent to the first regions in the intersecting direction and are intended to be second walls separate from the first walls.

A universal gripper of objects includes two elastomer membranes separating a bed of rounded tipped nails that allow for object conformation. The object is pushed into a membrane that contacts the object with a known air pressure behind an inner membrane inside the gripper. The air pressure provides conformance and maximum resolution of object curvature to the bed of nails. At least one pin guide and locking plate having flexure fingers is actuated causing a small displacement which clamps each nail in its deformed position. The air pressure on the inner membrane is now removed and afterwards, a vacuum blower is turned ON causing the object to be gripped for removal from a staging platen and moved to a position to receive an image from a printer.
