Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes an image sensor having a plurality of light receivers that receive light, a detector to detect a monitoring voltage which corresponds to a difference between a dark voltage corresponding to dark current generated from at least one of the plurality of light receivers and a predetermined reset voltage, and a controller to reset the image sensor if the monitoring voltage detected by the detector becomes lower than a threshold voltage. Abstract: A photographing apparatus, and a photographing method thereof. The photographing method of the photographing apparatus determines if an instruction to photograph is input, and if the instruction to photograph is input, displays a live view by using a first data output from a first pixel group included in an image sensor, and combines a second data output from a second pixel group included in the image sensor with the first data and generates a photographed image, and stores the generated photographed image. Abstract: The present invention relates to a sensor for capturing an image and a method for controlling the same. An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises an image sensor and one or more processors. The one or more processors may be configured to receive a signal for capturing a moving image and to acquire a first plurality of image frames according to a first frame rate through the image sensor in response to the signal, the first image frames comprising a first image frame and a second image frame corresponding to an external object. The acquiring operation comprises an operation of generating a first part of a moving image according to a second frame rate, which is lower than the first frame rate, using some image frames among the first plurality of image frames. The one or more processors may be configured to determine a change related to the external object at least on the basis of a brightness difference between a first brightness corresponding to the first image frame and a second brightness corresponding to the second image frame, to acquire a second plurality of image frames corresponding to the external object, when the change satisfies a predesignated condition, through the image sensor according to the first frame rate or a third frame rate that is different from the first frame rate, and to generate a second part of the moving image using one or more image frames among the second plurality of image frames.

The DDI may drive the display panel in a plurality of cycles to output one frame corresponding to the first frame rate. The camera may perform exposure of the image sensor in a section, in which one or more lines among lines constituting the display panel do not emit light, in the plurality of cycles. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to determine illuminance around the electronic device using image data according to the exposure. Moreover, various embodiment found through the disclosure are possible.
