Abstract: A flexible tubing material includes a radiation crosslinked blend of a first elastomeric polymer including a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer, an ethylene vinyl acetate elastomer, a polylefin elastomer with a second elastomeric polymer including a polyolefin elastomer, a diene elastomer, or combination thereof, with the proviso that the first elastomeric polymer and the second elastomeric polymer are different. In an embodiment, a method of making a material includes providing the first elastomeric polymer, providing the second elastomeric polymer, blending the first elastomeric polymer and the second elastomeric polymer, extruding or injection molding the blend, and crosslinking the blend with radiation.

Abstract: A multilayer flexible tube includes an inner layer including a melt processable fluoropolymer, wherein the fluoropolymer includes a copolymer of a poly vinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and a hexafluoropropylene (HFP); and an outer layer including a melt processable polymer having a shore hardness less than a shore hardness of the inner layer. Further provided is a method of making the multilayer flexible tube.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that include providing a tubing construction with at least one layer formed from a thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV). The tubing construction is suitable for use in pump applications subjected to cyclic loading and unloading. The tubing construction maintains a flowrate stability of +/−10% for an extended period of time to provide consistent fluid dispensing and/or dosing for an extended life of the tubing construction and/or the fluid pump.

Abstract: A flexible tube includes a polymer composition of a poly vinyl chloride having a molecular weight greater than about 1.0 inherent viscosity (IV) and a bio-based plasticizer. Further, a method of forming a flexible tube is provided. The method includes compounding a poly vinyl chloride having a molecular weight greater than about 1.0 inherent viscosity (IV) with a bio-based plasticizer to form a polymer composition and extruding the polymer composition into the flexible tube.
