Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit a multi-cell scheduling downlink control information (DCI) associated with at least two component carriers (CCs) for multi-cell communication with a user equipment (UE), the multi-cell scheduling DCI including a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identification field that is based at least in part on a merged HARQ process space associated with the at least two CCs. The network node may receive HARQ feedback associated with the multi-cell communication, the HARQ feedback being based at least in part on the merged HARQ process space. Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a network node includes transmitting a first group of frames comprising a group of normal slots and one or more first special slots. The method also includes reconfiguring one or more second special slots within a second group of frames scheduled after the first group of frames based on a block error rate (BLER) associated with the group of normal slots failing to satisfy a BLER condition. The method further includes transmitting the second group of frames based on reconfiguring the one or more second special slots within the second group of frames.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The UE receives, from a network entity, after transmitting at least a first repetition of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission according to a first repetition factor, a dynamic indication of a second repetition factor to apply for transmitting the same PUCCH transmission. The UE determines an application time of the second repetition factor based on at least a timing of a last complete or partial transmission instance of the PUCCH transmission. The UE transmits, to the network entity, one or more additional repetitions of the PUCCH transmission based, at least in part, on the determined application time of the second repetition factor.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a transmitting device may perform a pre-distortion of a signal on a resource allocation for the signal and using discrete Fourier transform (DFT)-domain processing. For example, the transmitting device may perform a first frequency-domain (FD) to time-domain (TD) transform, which may be an example of an inverse DFT (IDFT), on a first set of FD symbols to obtain a first set of TD samples. A size of the first FD to TD transform may be based on the resource allocation for the signal. The transmitting device may perform a crest factor reduction (CFR) function on the first set of TD samples to pre-distort the signal in the TD (e.g., in the IDFT domain), which may enable the transmitting device to avoid out-of-band (OOB) emission or otherwise have greater control over where the pre-distortion contributes energy.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may update a noise estimation (e.g., a noise covariance matrix, a log likelihood ratio (LLR) scaling, or both) for communications with a serving base station to account for interference from a neighboring base station operating according to a different radio access technology (RAT). For example, the UE may identify a transmission status of a base station operating according to a first RAT, such as long term evolution (LTE), that shares a radio frequency spectrum with a serving base station operating according to a second RAT, such as new radio (NR). The UE may measure the interference from the LTE base station and may update a noise estimation according to the measured interference. The UE and the serving base station may communicate based on the updated noise estimation.
