    摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for employing a machine learning-based approach such as adaptive Bayesian optimization to learn over time the most optimized assignments of incoming network requests to service function chains (SFCs) created within network slices of a 5G network. An optimized SFC assignment may be an assignment that minimizes an unknown objective function for a given set of incoming network service requests. For example, an optimized SFC assignment may be one that minimizes request response time or one that maximizes throughput for one or more network service requests corresponding to one or more network service types. The optimized SFC for a network request of a given network service type may change over time based on the dynamic nature of network performance. The machine-learning based approaches described herein train a model to dynamically determine optimized SFC assignments based on the dynamically changing network conditions.

    摘要: Techniques for communication based on communication networks with redundancy diversity are disclosed. Push-to-talk services are accessed over a first communications system. The first communications system includes at least two homogeneous groups. The homogeneous groups enable redundancy for the first communications system. Additional push-to-talk services are provided over a second communications system. The second communications system implements a different network protocol from the first communications system. At least one homogeneous group is included in the second communications system. A peer-to-peer connectivity is established between the first communications system and the second communications system. Data for a communication channel is routed between a first group in the first communications system and a group in the second communications system. The data is rerouted between a second group in the first communications system and the group in the second communications system, based on the data and the peer-to-peer connectivity.

    摘要: An approach is described for a user equipment (UE) comprising a transceiver configured to enable wireless communication with a second UE and a wireless device and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. The processor is configured receive, from the second UE, an end-to-end (E2E) quality of service (QoS) requirement of an E2E connection between the second UE and the wireless device, wherein the E2E connection includes a first hop between the UE and the second UE and a second hop between the UE and the wireless device. The processor is further configured to obtain a first hop link condition and a second hop link condition; split the E2E QoS requirement into a first hop QoS requirement and a second hop QoS requirement based on the first hop link condition and the second hop link condition; and transmit, using the transceiver, the first hop QoS requirement to the second UE. The wireless device is a third UE or a base station.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein provide for extending the range of a personal audio device connected to a personal wireless communication device via enabling the personal audio device to connect to and communicate with the personal wireless communication device via an access point (AP). An AP may have a larger range than a personal wireless communication device, and accordingly, an AP may be used to stream audio or voice calls to the personal audio device when the direct link quality between the personal audio device and the personal wireless communication device is below a threshold. To reduce latency and packet loss associated with transitions between communicating with the personal wireless communication device directly and via the AP or transitions between multiple APs, the personal audio device may be configured to establish a new wireless communication connection before breaking a current wireless communication connection.

    摘要: A slice manager module selects two network nodes out of network nodes belonging to the network slice and determines the two network nodes as the pair. The slice manager module determines an IP address relating to the network slice for each of the network nodes of the pair. An SDN controller determines, as a part or all of a communication route of the network slice, a communication route between the determined IP addresses. The SDN controller re-determines the communication route between the IP addresses in response to a fact that communication quality of the determined communication route satisfies a predetermined condition.
