Abstract: A method performed by a first entity in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving a first request message for receiving a multicast service from a second entity, detecting information about a multicast session identifier (ID) from the first request message, requesting information about a fourth entity corresponding to the multicast session ID from a third entity when the first entity does not correspond to the information about the multicast session ID, receiving the information about the fourth entity corresponding to the multicast session ID, identifying the fourth entity based on the information about the fourth entity, transmitting a multicast session join request message to the fourth entity, and receiving a message accepting multicast session join from the fourth entity.

Abstract: A vehicle includes: a communication device; an audio device; a global positioning system; and a control device configured to receive radio station information from a server through the communication device, the radio station information including information on a plurality of areas, radio frequencies for each of the plurality of areas, and a plurality of radio station names corresponding to each of the radio frequencies, identify location information of the vehicle based on a signal received through the global positioning system, receive a first signal of a first radio frequency through the audio device, and change a setting of a radio frequency of the audio device, based on the first radio frequency, the radio station information, and the location information of the vehicle, in response to a field strength of the first signal being equal to or less than a reference field strength.

Abstract: A method for multicast service data reception is provided. The method determines whether a first PDCCH addressed to a first RNTI is received on a first BWP. When a BWP inactivity timer is configured, a default BWP is configured, and the first BWP is not the default BWP, the method (re)starts the BWP inactivity timer after determining that the first PDCCH is received on the first BWP, and switches to the default BWP when the BWP inactivity timer expires. When the BWP inactivity timer is configured, the default BWP is not configured, and the first BWP is not an initial BWP, the method (re)starts the BWP inactivity timer after determining that the first PDCCH is received on the first BWP, and switches to the initial BWP when the BWP inactivity timer expires.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for merging of a set of items being shipped using a wireless node network. In an example method, a master node receives ID node identification information from a server in the network. The ID node identification information defines the group of ID nodes. Each of the ID nodes is related to a different item from the set of items being shipped. Next, each of the ID nodes in the group is associated with the master node when the master node detects a signal from each ID node as they respectively approach the master node. When the master node detects a last one of the ID nodes in the group approaching the master node, the master node transmits a notification to the server. Thereafter, the master node receives a shipment merge indication from the server.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for group cast with retries (GCR) in a multi-link wireless communications system. In some embodiments, an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) can exchange information with a non-AP MLD to establish a GCR-multi-link operation (MLO) agreement corresponding to a group address, wherein the information includes, but is not limited to: a GCR primary link or a GCR primary link set of the AP MLD, an association identifier (AID) that corresponds to the group address. In some embodiments, the AP MLD can transmit a GCR frame subject to the GCR-MLO agreement, where the GCR frame includes a sequence number assigned from sequence number space (SNS)_GCR_MLO defined at a MLD level, and generate a Group Temporal Key (GTK)_GCR_ML at the MLD level, where the GTK_GCR_ML enables encryption and decryption of the GCR frame.

Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards an adapting radio access network coverage for location-based alerts. A group of cells and/or cell sectors can be selected for sending an alert, according to selection techniques described herein. The selection techniques can provide a target level of cellular coverage for a geographic area, while avoiding over-inclusion of cells and consequent dissemination of alerts to subscribers outside the geographic area. The target level of coverage can comprise a desired amount of service overlap, to achieve a corresponding level of confidence that subscribers within the geographic area will receive an alert. The selection techniques can furthermore close identified coverage gaps within the geographic area.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for monitoring a piece of equipment using a node network having multiple nodes and a server. A second node is associated with the equipment, can monitor equipment operations, and communicate directly with a first node but is unable to directly communicate with the server. The first node can directly communicate with the server and separately communicate with the second node. The first node associates with the second node when the first node detects a signal broadcast from the second node. The second node detects an actionable event related to the operation of the equipment, and transmits a message reporting the actionable event to the first node. The first node notifies the server about the actionable event. Thereafter, the server initiates a responsive action based upon the notification.
