Abstract: A dual polarity antenna including: a first radiator for radiating or for receiving a first radio-frequency (RF) wave having a first linear polarisation, and a second radiator for radiating or for receiving a second RF wave having a second linear polarisation orthogonal to the first linear polarisation. The first radiator includes one or more electrically conductive parts and the second radiator is provided by one or more slots in the one or more electrically conductive parts. An antenna column array may be densified and the size of the array columns may be reduced by locating and/or embedding the second radiator in the first radiator.

Abstract: An electronic device and an antenna module are provided. The electronic device includes a metal housing with a slot having an open end and a first upper edge portion located at an upper edge of the slot. The antenna module is arranged in the metal housing and includes a carrier board, a feeding element, a radiating element with a feeding portion connected to the feeding element, and a first parasitic radiating element arranged on the carrier board and connected or coupled to the first upper edge portion. A vertical projection of the radiating element on the metal housing at least partially overlaps the slot. One side of the first parasitic radiating element is near an edge of the open end. The radiating element is fed with a signal through the feeding element to generate a resonant mode and is coupled to the slot to excite another resonant mode.

Abstract: An outphasing antenna structure is provided that includes a first antenna feeder and a second antenna feeder. A high-PAPR signal is decomposed into a first constant-envelope signal that drives the first antenna feeder and into a second constant-envelope signal that drives the second antenna feeder. The pair of antenna feeders parasitically couple to an antenna that radiates the first and second constant-envelope signals that spatially combine in free space into the high-PAPR signal.

Abstract: A wirelessly locatable tag may include a first housing member defining an exterior surface of the wirelessly locatable tag and a frame member attached to the first housing member and defining a battery cavity configured to receive a button cell battery and an opening through the frame member. The wirelessly locatable tag may further include a circuit board positioned between the first housing member and the frame member, a battery connector coupled to the circuit board and comprising a deflectable arm extending into the battery cavity through the opening in the frame member, a second housing member removably coupled to the frame member, and a biasing member configured to bias the button cell battery into the battery cavity of the frame member and against the deflectable arm of the battery connector.
