    Abstract: A multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna device for spatial multiplexing transmission and that includes: a front side dipole antenna arranged on a front side surface; and a rear side dipole antenna arranged on a rear side surface which faces the front side surface. The front side dipole antenna and the rear side dipole antenna have a same frequency band. The front side dipole antenna includes a front side bowtie antenna, and the rear side dipole antenna includes a rear side bowtie antenna. The front side bowtie antenna or the rear side bowtie antenna includes, at a side surface defined between the front side surface and the rear side surface of the MIMO antenna device, a side surface element portion for adjusting antenna performance which extends from the front side bowtie antenna or the rear side bowtie antenna.

    Abstract: An antenna device to be mounted on a vehicle includes an antenna base; and an antenna element erected on the antenna base, wherein the antenna element includes a proximal end portion fixed on a plane substantially perpendicular to the antenna base and two arm portions extending in directions away from each other from the proximal end portion, and wherein an inductance of at least one of the two arm portions is larger than an inductance of a planer conductor having a same material and a substantially same outer shape. In one embodiment, an inductance of one arm portion of the two arm portions is be smaller than an inductance of the other arm portion.

    Abstract: An antenna device includes: a pair of first elements that are arranged on a first plane; and a pair of second elements that are arranged on a second plane parallel to the first plane such that a polarized wave direction of the pair of second elements is orthogonal to that of the pair of first elements. Each element of the pair of first elements and the pair of second elements includes a portion that acts as a self-similarity antenna or an antenna that acts based on similar operating principle to the self-similarity antenna. In one embodiment, each element of the pair of first elements and the pair of second elements includes two arms that extend in a direction away from each other from a proximal end portion to which a feed point is connectable.

    Abstract: A patch antenna includes a patch element and a ground conductor facing the patch element. The patch element is convex toward a side opposite to a side facing the ground conductor. Preferably, the patch element is convex while centering around at least one center line. Here, end portions on both sides of the patch element are positioned across the center line to face each other, and surfaces parallel to a direction toward the ground conductor from the respective end portions on the both sides at the shortest distance intersect or become a same surface.

    Abstract: Provided is a linear polarization array antenna device for vehicle that is low-cost and has a high gain, by forming an array antenna and a transmission line by conductor patterns on a substrate. The present invention is provided with: a dipole antenna array in which a plurality of dipole antennas formed by the conductor patterns provided on a dielectric substrate are arranged; and two parallel transmission lines formed by the conductor patterns provided on the dielectric substrate, wherein power is supplied to the dipole antennas via the transmission lines. The two parallel transmission lines have a structure in which a pair of conductor patterns face each other across the dielectric substrate interposed between the pair of the conductor patterns.

    Abstract: An antenna device for a vehicle includes an antenna board in which a colinear array antenna is constructed by a conductor pattern provided on each of both surfaces of a dielectric substrate. The colinear array antenna includes a first straight portion, a second straight portion, a first connection portion one end of which is connected to the first straight portion, and a second connection portion one end of which is electrically connected to the first connection portion and another end of which is connected to the second straight portion. The first straight portion and the first connection portion are provided on a first surface of the dielectric substrate. The second straight portion and the second connection portion are provided on a second surface of the dielectric substrate opposite to the first surface.
