摘要: A portable or wearable electronic device can include a device housing defining an internal volume, and an electronic component disposed in the internal volume. The electronic component can be an input component and can have a component housing. The electronic device can also include an antenna feed assembly disposed in the internal volume. The antenna feed assembly can include a conductive grounding component electrically connected to the component housing and the device housing, and an antenna feed component electrically connected to the grounding component and disposed adjacent to the component housing. The conductive grounding component can surround a first major surface and a second major surface of the component housing.

摘要: A chip antenna includes a radiation portion having a block shape and a first surface and a second surface opposing each other, and configured to receive and radiate a feed signal as an electromagnetic wave; a first block made of a dielectric material and coupled to the first surface of the radiation portion; a second block made of a dielectric material and coupled to the second surface of the radiation portion; a ground portion having a block shape and coupled to the first block, and configured to reflect the electromagnetic wave radiated by the radiation portion back toward the radiation portion; and a director having a block shape and coupled to the second block, wherein an overall width of the ground portion, the first block, and the radiation portion is 2 mm or less, and the first block has a dielectric constant of 3.5 or more to 25 or less.

摘要: An antenna for short-range applications, including an elongate two-pole conductor structure with an internal conductor and a sheath conductor coaxially surrounding the internal conductor, and a terminal structure connected to the conductor structure. The terminal structure includes an electrically insulating carrier plate, an electrically conductive sheath conductor connection surface that extends over a first region of the carrier plate on the upper side of the carrier plate and is connected to the sheath conductor, an electrically conductive internal conductor connection surface that extends over a second region of the carrier plate, which is spaced apart from the first region of the carrier plate, on the upper side of the carrier plate and is connected to the internal conductor, an electrically conductive coupling conductor surface that extends over a third region of the carrier plate on the underside of the carrier plate. The antenna provides reliable transmission of information over short distances.

摘要: A wide band antenna comprising a signal generator coupled to a feed region of at least one antenna element comprising upper and lower loops. Upper loop comprising a first conductive loop element defined by an upper conductor and a first conductive blade tapering outwardly forming a flare portion adjacent a distal end of the upper conductor. Lower loop comprising a second loop defined by a base conductor and a second conductive blade tapering outwardly forming a flare portion adjacent a distal end of the base conductor, first and second conductive blades defining, between their facing edges, a notch opening outwardly from feed region. The method comprising matching an antenna element impedance to the transmission line; selecting an antenna element cut-off frequency; selecting an upper conductor length, and subsequently selecting dimensions of the upper loop such that they are substantially equal to a wavelength corresponding to the selected cut-off frequency.

摘要: Devices or apparatuses for changing settings of a neutralization line are described. A radio device may include a neutralization line coupled between a first antenna and a second antenna. The neutralization line has a variable component and the first and the second antennas are electromagnetically coupled and have a first coupling value. The neutralization line is controlled by a controller. The controller is coupled to the first antenna port, the second antenna port and the neutralization line. The controller detects an environmental condition that causes the first coupling value increase to a second coupling value. The controller also adjusts a value of the variable component to change a resistance value or, a reactance value, or both of the adaptive neutralization line to achieve a third coupling value that is lower than the second coupling value.
