摘要: A control device for a power converter applied to a system including a chargeable/dischargeable power storage device, a coil, and the power converter electrically connecting the coil and the power storage device performs: determining whether the storage unit needs to be heated; and repeatedly executing a single cycle control mode in a specified cycle and performing switching control of the power converter to make a current flowing in the coil higher than 0 when determines that the storage device needs to be heated. The single cycle control mode includes a coil charge mode in which the current flowing in the coil is gradually increased and a coil discharge mode in which the current flowing in the coil is gradually decreased, which is executed after the coil charge mode.

摘要: A battery cooling system (1) configured to distribute a cooling medium at an appropriate flow rate. The battery cooling system cools a battery including a plurality of battery packs (3) by a jacket (2). The jacket includes a branch channel (supply branch channel 12, discharge branch channel 13) that branches from a main channel (supply main channel 10, discharge main channel 11) and returns to the main channel. The main channel is directly coupled to pressure feeding pump (P) that pressure feeds a cooling medium. The battery cooling system includes a temperature control valve (5, 5′, 5″) provided at the branch channel through which the cooling medium flows out from the channel of the jacket to an outside and returns to the main channel. The temperature control valve adjusts a degree of opening of a valve corresponding to a temperature of the cooling medium nearby.

The cylindrical power battery module includes an input copper bar, an output cooper bar and a cells contact system assembly having the corresponding number as submodules. The input copper bar is connected to a cell unit at an input terminal of the cylindrical power battery module, the output copper bar is connected to a cell unit at an output terminal of the cylindrical power battery module, and the cells contact system assemblies are connected in series and in parallel to cell units of the submodules.

摘要: A electric vehicle battery thermal regulation system configured to prioritize a flow of cooling fluid past at least one of a battery cell experiencing a thermal event, including a plurality of conduits through which a flow of thermal regulation fluid can flow, portions of the thermal regulation system positioned in close proximity to the at least one of a plurality of battery cells to provide cooling to said plurality of battery cells, wherein the thermal regulation system includes one or more bi-material valves configured to at least one of open or close in response to a change in temperature of the thermal regulation fluid, thereby rerouting a flow of the thermal regulation fluid through the plurality of conduits to prioritize cooling to one or more battery cells experiencing a thermal event.

摘要: A battery module includes a housing, assembled from a first side wall, a second side wall, a first end plate, and a second end plate, is configured to support a plurality of battery cells. The battery module also includes a heating pad and a cooling plate that are configured to regulate a thermal state of the plurality of battery cell. The heating pad is disposed substantially adjacent to the plurality of battery cells and the cooling plate is disposed adjacent to the heating pad opposite the plurality of battery cells. A controller associated with the battery module is configured receive an indication of battery temperature and active one of the heating pad or the cooling plate based at least on the battery temperature of the plurality of battery cells.
