摘要: A battery includes an outer can and an electrode group housed in the outer can together with an alkaline electrolyte solution. The electrode group includes a positive electrode and a negative electrode stacked together with a separator therebetween. The negative electrode includes a negative electrode core and a negative electrode mixture retained on the negative electrode core. The negative electrode mixture contains at least one of zinc, a zinc alloy, or a zinc-containing compound. The negative electrode core is composed of a nonporous copper foil. The separator is a composite including a nonwoven fabric and a microporous film stacked together in the thickness direction. A value of A/B is 0.28 or more and 0.53 or less, where A is the total thickness of the microporous film, and B is the total thickness of the nonwoven fabric.

Also, a method of producing such a SSE comprising preparing a liquid precursor and exposing the liquid precursor to a temperature between 20° C. and 80° C. to solidify the liquid precursor, thereby obtaining the solid state electrolyte.

摘要: An electrical energy power source comprises a casing made by micro-bonding an upper ceramic wafer and a lower ceramic wafer to the opposed surfaces of a ceramic ring. The upper and lower ceramic wafers have respective first and second conductive pathways extends therethrough. A first current collector supporting a first active material layer contacts the upper ceramic wafer and the first conductive pathway, and a second current collector supporting a second, opposite polarity active material layer contacts the lower ceramic wafer and the second conductive pathway. A separator resides between the first and second active materials, and an electrolyte filled into the casing through a fill port activates the active materials. The first and second conductive pathways serve as opposite polarity terminals for the power source.

摘要: A battery pack has bus bars at one end, freeing the other end of the battery pack for cooling or other arrangements. A plurality of battery cells oriented in the same manner in the battery pack has first terminals of the battery cells at first ends of the battery cells. Portions of second terminals of the battery cells are at the first ends of the battery cells. The first ends of the battery cells are in a coplanar arrangement. A plurality of bus bars is assembled proximate to the first ends of the battery cells. The bus bars are coupled to the first terminals and the second terminals of the battery cells at the first ends of the battery cells to place the battery cells in a series connection and a parallel connection.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a secondary battery including a gel polymer electrolyte and a secondary battery obtained thereby. The method can inhibit thermal crosslinking of a gel polymer electrolyte during the wetting with an electrolyte, and facilitate thermal crosslinking after the wetting with an electrolyte is finished. In addition, the method can increase uniformity of thermal crosslinking by controlling the oxygen content in a cell.
