摘要: A display control device, which controls images to be displayed on a single display mounted on a vehicle, includes: multiple image determination units that determine the images to be displayed on the display; a state monitoring unit that successively monitors, as monitoring targets, the plurality of image determination units to determine whether an abnormality occurs in the plurality of image determination units; and a display mode determination unit that switches a display mode of the display in response to the state monitoring unit determining that an error image is displayed on the display due to the abnormality occurred in the plurality of image determination units. The display mode determination unit switches the display mode such that the error image is less likely to give discomfort to a user.

The approach may, for instance, include processing a current orientation mode of a device, a detected attitude change of the device, and an attitude change threshold to determine a new orientation mode for the device. In an instance when the attitude change threshold is satisfied, then switching to the new orientation mode and in an instance when the new orientation mode is a landscape orientation mode, then causing to present navigation information in an augmented reality display.

摘要: An image display system includes a body, a first correction unit, and a second correction unit. The body houses a display unit to display an image and projects a virtual image, corresponding to the image, onto a target space using outgoing light of the display unit. The first correction unit corrects for distortion of the image. The second correction unit corrects a display location of the image on the display unit in accordance with an orientation signal representing a change in orientation of the body. Each of divisional areas of a display screen of the display unit is assigned with a distortion correction parameter for correcting for the distortion of the virtual image. The first correction unit applies distortion correction to each of the image regions of the image on the display screen based on a distortion correction parameter assigned to a divisional area where the image region is displayed.

摘要: A wearable device may include a head-mounted display (HMD) for rendering a three-dimensional (3D) virtual object which appears to be located in an ambient environment of a user of the display. The relative positions of the HMD and one or more eyes of the user may not be in desired positions to receive image information outputted by the HMD. For example, the HAMID-to-eye vertical alignment may be different between the left and right eyes. The wearable device may determine if the HMD is level on the user's head and may then provide the user with a left-eye alignment marker and a right-eye alignment marker. Based on user feedback, the wearable device may determine if there is any left-right vertical misalignment and may take actions to reduce or minimize the effects of any misalignment.

摘要: Provided are an eye-tracking device that may rapidly and accurately track an observer's eye and may be made compact, and a display apparatus including the eye-tracking device. The eye-tracking device includes: a light source configured to emit an illumination light; a light guide plate configured to transmit the illumination light emitted from the light source to an observer's eye and transmit the illumination light reflected from the observer's eye in a direction opposite to a propagation direction of the illumination light emitted from the light source; a photodetector array configured to detect the illumination light reflected from the observer's eye; and a signal processor configured to determine an angle of rotation of the observer's eye based on a two-dimensional (2D) intensity distribution of the illumination light detected by the photodetector array.
