Abstract: A windshield includes an outer glass, a polymer interlayer, and an inner glass. The inner glass has a third surface and a fourth surface opposite the third surface. The third surface faces the polymer interlayer. The windshield has an information collection region and a non-information collection region. An enhanced reflection coating is provided on the fourth surface. The enhanced reflection coating covers the information collection region and the non-information collection region. The enhanced reflection coating is configured to improve a reflectivity of the non-information collection region for P-polarized light of 380 nm˜ 780 nm. A dielectric coating is further provided in the information collection region. The dielectric coating disposed on a side face of the enhanced reflection coating away from the fourth surface.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a display system comprises a set of reflective or semi-reflective elements. A display emits light such that one portion of the light travels a first path through the display system, and another portion travels a second path, which includes a reflection from a windshield. The two portions form virtual images that are simultaneously viewable in a headbox. In some embodiments, the source of light that forms the image is an ambient source, and the display system is at least in part a sunlight-driven display system. In some embodiments, virtual images have a monocular depth that is far from a viewer. In some embodiments, the virtual images are closer to a viewer, and a gesture camera captures information about gestures made by a viewer, said gestures modifying the virtual images or some property or dynamics of the vehicle.

Abstract: A display device is configured to be installed in a vehicle. The display device includes: a display on which a rear image of the vehicle is configured to be displayed; a reflectance control device configured to change a reflectance of incident light; and a control circuit configured to control the reflectance. Abstract: An information display apparatus capable of reducing the viewpoint movement of a driver and achieving safer driving in consideration of the relationship between the traveling speed and the stopping distance of a vehicle is provided. The information display apparatus is configured to display image information in a transportation and comprises a HUD apparatus disposed between a windshield of the transportation and an instrument panel of the transportation. The HUD apparatus detects a viewpoint position of a driver; and displays a virtual image of the image information in front of the transportation by reflecting light emitted from the HUD apparatus to display the image information by the windshield. The HUD apparatus is configured to set a display position of the virtual image in accordance with movement of the viewpoint position of the driver who is driving the transportation.

Each individual micro-LED of the plurality of micro-LEDs, when the vehicular display assembly is operated to emit light, may pass less than 4 mA electrical current. The vehicular display assembly is configured to be disposed at a portion of a vehicle equipped with the vehicular display assembly. With the vehicular display assembly disposed at the portion of the equipped vehicle, light emitted by the plurality of micro-LEDs, when the vehicular display assembly is operated to emit light, is viewable at the portion of the equipped vehicle.
