摘要: A monitoring system includes a weight sensor for receiving a vial containing a controlled substance possessed by a patient. A processor receives a weight measured by the weight sensor. A communication circuit transmits the weight measured by the weight sensor to a remote server. The weight sensor may be mounted in a container having a first compartment and a second compartment. The first compartment has a first lid that is releasable without any lock. A second compartment has a second lid that is secured by a lock. The weight sensor is mounted inside the second compartment.

摘要: Sensor data from load cells at a shelf is processed using a first time window to produce first event data describing coarse and sub-events. Location data is determined that indicates where on the shelf weight changes occurred at particular times. Hypotheses are generated using information about where items are stowed, weights of those of items, type of event, and the location data. If confidence values of these hypotheses are below a threshold value, second event data is determined by merging adjacent sub-events. This second event data is then used to determine second hypotheses which are then assessed. A hypothesis with a high confidence value is used to generate interaction data indicative of picks or places of particular quantities of particular types of items from the shelf.

摘要: A method for calculating the quantity of goods based on weighing includes the following steps: Step 1, Weight Conversion; accurately convert the weighing reading to the corresponding weight value W; Step 2, Weight Scaling; that is, the conversion of weight units; Step 3, Zero Point Correction; calibrate the weight reading; Step 4, Tare; remove the weight of non-goods objects in the weight value; Step 5, Anti-Mutation Filtering; anti-mutation filtering on the weight value; Step 6, Quantity Conversion; convert the weight value after calibration and correction of steps 1 to 5 above into the approximate (rough) quantity of the goods; Step 7, Quantity Calibration; calibrate the rough quantity of the above-mentioned goods.

摘要: The present technology relates to a container monitoring system for monitoring the content of containers, such as beverage bottles. The monitoring system is automated to record the content of the containers according to a metric such, as the container's weight and capture variances in the container's content for reconciliation with data such as sales data to expose irregularities in the consumption of the container's contents to provide inferences as to the cause of those irregularities. Various embodiments of the monitoring system may comprise a scale assembly for producing scale data, a processor module communicatively linked to the scale assembly, and a front end server application for processing and comparing the scale data to point of sale data and pushing notifications, reports, and other data to a user.

摘要: A pressure-sensitive device and a computing device are configured to register various steps of a meal lifecycle, including one or more of food purchasing, meal preparation, the serving and consumption of a meal, use of leftovers, management of food inventory, the transferring of a food item from one container to another, the transferring of a food item into a container, the transferring of a portion of a food item into a container. A food item may be automatically identified based on a weight and footprint of the food item. In some instances, a database associates a food item with multiple footprints such that a food item may be identified regardless of its orientation on the pressure-sensitive device.

摘要: This invention relates to modifications to the traditional manually operated pill counting tray that is broadly used throughout the world to provide features that permit semi-automatic operation that is faster and more accurate than manual-only operation when counting pharmaceutical pills. The tray modifications are based on electronic weight-based sensing technology including the addition of (1) a weighing load sensor to determine the weight of the pills to be counted, (2) a motion sensor and latch for the trough lid to aid operation and performance, (3) a microprocessor that can convert the measured weight of the pills to a pill count, and (4) an output display to show the number of pills counted. This apparatus includes novel features to improve pill counting speed and accuracy, as well as ease of use, that are only possible when employing electronic counting.
