    Abstract: An underwater, expandable structure includes first and second helical coaxial tubes wound in opposite directions and bound together by a plurality of cords. The structure includes sensors placed on the structure at various locations, and relative spacing among the sensors remains stable once the tubes are inflated with water. The structure as well as assemblies and methodologies for deploying the structure are disclosed.

    Abstract: Various designs for a stand for a laser projection device including feet capable of being used in indoor and outdoor environments and the leg retention devices to lock legs of the stand together are shown. In one example, the stand includes feet with a rotatable spike structure that can be implanted in soft environments outdoors and hidden to protect indoor flooring. In another example the stand includes a leg retention device including a clip to clamp or hold the legs of the stand together in a closed position. In another example, a leg retention device including detents are used to hold the legs of the stand together in a closed position.

    Abstract: A modular fitting for immersion in a medium includes: a cylindrical fitting tube configured to accommodate a sensor as to enable contact with the medium at a first end, wherein at the first end a protective basket with at least two tines is arranged; a crown nut including an external thread and at least two slots; a ring; and a cylindrical fitting base including an internal thread complementary to the external thread of the crown nut at a first end region of the fitting base and a stop at a second end region of the fitting base, wherein the ring is configured to be slipped over a cable connected to the sensor, wherein the fitting base is configured to accommodate and fix the ring via the crown nut, and wherein the fitting base and the fitting tube each comprise connecting means to releasably connect them securely to each other.

    Abstract: A 2-axis bracket assembly with smart linear actuators forms a mount for one or more sensors, and is controllable via a remote smart controller for the actuators, which may in turn be controlled by a remote PC and may control multiple 2-axis bracket assemblies. A two-axis gimballed support is mounted to an elevated structure, and a sensor is fixed thereto. The gimballed support includes a gimbal assembly, and a bracket to mount the assembly on a pole, a bracket assembly to hold the sensor. The gimbal assembly connects the pole bracket to the sensor bracket, permitting two-axis motion therebetween. Two smart linear actuators, one connecting the pole bracket to the gimbal assembly, and one connecting the sensor bracket to the gimbal assembly control the position of the sensor bracket and the sensor.

    Abstract: A process isolation device for handling a process sensor probe at a process location fitting inserts the process sensor probe into a process at a process location fitting and pulls out the process sensor probe from the process. The process isolation device includes an adapter arranged in the process location fitting and fitted for the process sensor probe to hold and move the sensor in at least three positions of the process sensor probe, the positions including the process sensor probe inserted position into the process location via the fitting into the process fluid, the process sensor probe retracted position from the processor location fitting and the process sensor probe pivoted aside position from the processor location fitting, and push-pull means in co-operation with pivot means to push and pull the process sensor probe as attached to the adapter in co-operation to pivot the process sensor probe in the adapter.
