    摘要: Provided is an apparatus for controlling a striking device. The apparatus for controlling the striking device equipped with a weapon to strike a target includes: a display unit which displays an image captured by a camera mounted on the striking device; a control unit which controls firing of the weapon; and a manipulation unit which transmits a fire signal to the control unit, wherein the control unit calculates the number of rounds of ammunition left in the striking device, calculates an accuracy rate which is a probability that the striking device will hit the target, and determines whether the target can be neutralized by considering the calculated number of rounds of ammunition left and the calculated accuracy rate for the target.

    摘要: An apparatus. The apparatus includes electrical circuitry for selectably controlling a first and a second weapon system different from the first weapon system. The electrical circuitry includes a first switch including a first pole and a second pole. The apparatus also includes a first connector having a first terminal coupled to a common terminal of the first pole. A second connector has a first terminal coupled to a common terminal of the second pole. The first connector is configured to couple to a first weapon system mounted on a mobile platform; and the second connector is configured to couple to a second weapon system mounted on the mobile platform. The first weapons system is configured to operate when the first switch is in a first position and the second weapon system is configured to operate when the first switch is in a second position.

    摘要: A system for tracking a moving target from a moving carrier. The system is provided with an arrangement allowing a measurement of the position of the target in relation to the carrier. The difference between the position of the target and an estimated position for the latter is given by this arrangement, generally in spherical co-ordinates. These spherical co-ordinates are changed by a co-ordinates converting unit into cartesian co-ordinates. The position of the target is given in turn in relation to a cartesian frame of reference of unvarying orientation whose origin is situated close to the instantaneous centre of rotation of the carrier in relation with a trajectory simulator. The frame of reference is then changed in the opposite direction for a control of the position of the measuring arrangement.

A target tracking sensor mechanization is provided which generates target position, velocity, and acceleration data components in an inertially-stabilized Cartesian coordinate system, whereby improved closed-loop pilot-aircraft weapon control system dynamic stability and accuracy result. Target sensor dynamic tracking accuracy improvement and noise reduction are also obtained by virtue of such inertially stabilized tracking mechanization.

    摘要: A system for detecting and locating a source of radiation in which an image orthicon tube, sensitive only to infrared emissions at the wavelength of the source, is scanned along first and second orthogonal axes and, upon sensing incoming radiation, generates a signal which is applied to an analog computer which analyzes the signal, determines the direction from which it came, and arms a suitable responding device, such as a weapon, at the source of radiation. Provision is made for storing signals from a plurality of radiation sources so that the responding device is aimed at each in sequence.
