Abstract: An ink film construction comprising: (a) a printing substrate; and (b) at least one ink film, fixedly adhered to a top surface of the printing substrate, the ink film having an upper film surface distal to the top surface of the substrate, wherein a surface concentration of nitrogen at the upper film surface exceeds a bulk concentration of nitrogen within the film, the bulk concentration measured at a depth of at least 30 nanometers below the upper film surface, and wherein a ratio of the surface concentration to the bulk concentration is at least 1.1 to 1.

Abstract: A composition for use as a floor coating, the composition including an at least one polymer having a solids content, based on a total weight of the composition, an at least one resin having a solids content, based on a total weight of the composition, and an at least one plasticizer having a solids content, based a total weight of the composition. Further, the solids content of the at least one plasticizer to the solids content of the at least one polymer is between about 20% and about 25%, the solids content of the at least one polymer and the solids content of the at least one resin are in a ratio of about 25:1 to about 35:1, and the composition has a percent elongation of at least 100% and a tensile strength of at least 1000 psi, when applied to a surface.

Abstract: A coating composition comprises at least one solvent, at least one resin, and at least one filler, wherein the filler is silica-deficient, sodium-potassium alumina silicate. The silica-deficient filler may be a sodium-potassium alumina silicate that contains less than 0.1 percent by weight crystalline silica and is 5 percent by weight or less of the coating composition or 1 percent by weight or less of the coating composition. In the later instance, the coating composition contains less than 0.001 percent crystalline silica. The resin may comprise styrene, styrenic copolymers, or mixtures including styrene. The composition provides a temporary gloss coating that may be removed physically, as by peeling for example. A method for coating a substrate with a coating that maybe removed by physical means is also provided. The method comprises applying the disclosed coating composition.

Abstract: Planarizing and spin-on-carbon (SOC) compositions that fill vias and/or trenches on a substrate while planarizing the surface in a single thin layer coating process are provided. The compositions can planarize wide ranges of substrates with vias or trenches of from about 20 nm to about 220 nm wide, and up to about 700 nm deep. These extraordinary properties come from the low molecular weight of the polymers used in the materials, thermally-labile protecting groups on the polymers, and a delayed crosslinking reaction.

The prepreg and metal foil-covered laminate made from the thermosetting resin composition have good toughness, and maintain a high glass transition temperature, a low water absorption, dielectric properties and humidity resistance, being suitable for the field of high-frequency and high-speed printed circuit boards and the processing of multilayer printed circuit boards.
