摘要: A scraper system for a conveyor system having a conveyor belt and a method for attaching a scraper module to a scraper system. The scraper system includes a system carrier and scraper modules for contacting the conveyor belt. The scraper modules are attached to a module carrier that extends on the system carrier parallel to the system carrier. The module carrier is releasably attached to the system carrier by a clamping assembly for applying a clamping force in the transverse direction to the system carrier. The clamping assembly has a clamping rod that runs parallel to the system carrier and applies the clamping force by wedge action.

摘要: A mat assembly is provided for receiving carryback material deposited from a conveyor belt. The mat assembly includes a substrate for deployment below the conveyor belt, and a plurality of discrete sensors mounted to the substrate. Each sensor of the plurality of sensors detects weight of the carryback material deposited on the substrate proximate the sensor. The mat assembly further includes a processor that is communicatively coupled with the plurality of sensors. The processor is configured to convey data indicative of carryback material sensed by the plurality of sensors.

摘要: In one aspect, an apparatus is provided for a conveyor belt system. The apparatus includes a conveyor belt cleaner having an elongate support and a pair of mounts configured to position the elongate support to extend across a conveyor belt. The apparatus includes a cleaner blade configured to be operatively mounted to the elongate support and engage a conveyor belt. The apparatus further includes a sensor configured to detect at least one characteristic of the elongate support as the elongate support vibrates during conveyor belt operation. A processor of the apparatus is configured to use the at least one characteristic of the elongate support to predict at least one property of the cleaner blade.

摘要: A self-advancing cleaner and a method of operating the self-advancing cleaner. In an embodiment, a rotatable member can engage a transport belt, wherein the rotatable member includes a cleaning surface comprising a surface sufficiently rough to collect and take away ink debris from the transport belt. During a cleaning operation the cleaning surface remains stationary while the transport belt moves in a sliding relative motion with respect to the cleaning surface, which allows the ink debris to be collected on the cleaning surface. Once an ink contamination level associated with the ink debris attains a threshold and a set friction exceeds the threshold, the self-advancing cleaner advances.

摘要: Provided is a conveyor belt wear monitoring system including a non-contact sensor arranged facing a surface of an upper cover rubber. A distance to the surface of the upper cover rubber is detected using the non-contact sensor in a predetermined range in a belt width direction of the upper cover rubber of the traveling conveyor belt. An amount of wear of the upper cover rubber is obtained by comparing the detection data with pre-stored reference data.
