摘要: An electric vehicle includes: a third power supply line that supplies power from a quick charger placed outside the vehicle body to a battery, a positive-side line being on an upstream side of a current flowing from the quick charger to the battery, a negative-side line being on a downstream side the current flowing from the quick charger to the battery; a third protection circuit that is capable of cutting off the power via the third power supply line by electrically disconnecting the positive-side line and/or the negative-side line; and a control section that executes control for electrically disconnecting between the battery and the third power supply line when determining, based on a detection result of a third detection section, that the third protection circuit is in a state where each of the positive-side line and the negative-side line is not disconnectable.

摘要: A common-mode current sensor system and method for a traction inverter of an electric hybrid vehicle. The system and method detects/reduces excess common-mode currents that can be caused by the presence of alternating current (AC)-chassis type short circuit faults at the outputs of an inverter used for driving a two or more-phased load. In an embodiment, the system detects the presence of an AC-chassis fault of any varying strength, e.g., weak, medium, hard, in respective parallel paths. The system and method can isolate a particular AC-chassis type fault to a particular phase leg of the inverter thereby obviating a need of having to shut-down and/or re-program each phase leg of the whole power supply and vehicle operation. Rather, upon detecting a chassis short, a fault signal is asserted to control shutting down of one or more inverter switches without having to shut-down the vehicle or negatively impact the vehicle status.

A predictor predicts, based on the driving data of the electrically-powered moving body, an aging failure of an electromechanical transducer including a motor driving a driving wheel of the electrically-powered moving body and a drive circuit driving the motor. The driving data include an input voltage of the drive circuit, an input current of the drive circuit, a rotational speed of the motor driven by the drive circuit, and a rotational torque of the motor. The predictor predicts the aging failure of the electromechanical transducer based on a change of a value statistically representing a relationship between an input electric power of the drive circuit, obtained based on the input voltage and the input current of the drive circuit, and a shaft output power of the motor, obtained based on the rotational speed and the rotational torque of the motor.

The system includes an aircraft controller communicatively connected to the energy source, wherein the aircraft controller is configured to receive an electrical parameter, compare the electrical parameter to a current allocation threshold, detect that the electrical parameter has reached a current allocation threshold, calculate a power reduction to the load, generate a current allocation threshold notification as a function of the detection, wherein the current allocation threshold notification indicates that the electrical parameter has reached the current allocation threshold. The system includes an electrical circuit including a circuit protection device communicatively connected to the aircraft controller.
