Abstract:
An articulation system (1) for interconnecting first and second vehicle units of an articulated road vehicle comprises a central element (2) including a vertical cylinder with left and right arcuate walls (4) extending between two facing openings. First and second interconnecting structures (5) are joined to the central element (2) and are adapted to be respectively attached to the first and second vehicle units on opposed sides of the central element (2). Each interconnecting structure has a pitch joint member (5a) and a yaw joint member (5b). The pitch joint member (5a) has a frame (7) perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of a corresponding one of the first and second vehicle units and a pitch hinge mechanism (6) at a floor level to interconnect with the corresponding one of the first and second vehicle units. The yaw joint member (5b) has a frame (8) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the corresponding one of the first and second vehicle units and left and right arcuate walls juxtaposed to the left and right arcuate walls (4) of the vertical cylinder and rotatable therearound. The frame (7) of the pitch joint member (5a) and the frame (8) of the yaw joint member (5b) are juxtaposed and mechanically linked to jointly form a planar roll joint mechanism.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a detector arrangement and method for determining a mutual position or a mutual state of motion of at least two structural parts of a mobile work machine. The arrangement comprises detectors configurable to determine at least in one direction of measurement at least two different measured variables in order to determine at least structural-part-specific position or state of motion information for each direction of measurement. The arrangement further comprises a data processing means for receiving measurement signals describing measured variables as well as for determining a mutual position or state of motion of the structural parts on the basis of the structural-part-specific position or state of motion information.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a middle hoop system for a vehicle joint arranged between a first vehicle section and a second vehicle section of a multi-unit vehicle. The middle hoop system comprises a middle hoop, which is oriented in a transverse direction, and a cable strand which extends between sections of the vehicle. The middle hoop surrounds a passage intended for passengers. The cable strand is arranged above the passage. The middle hoop system comprises a guide lever which is connected to the middle hoop by means of a first pivot joint and which is connected to the cable strand by means of a second pivot joint, the axis of the first pivot joint and the axis of the second pivot joint intersecting a vertical longitudinal plane. The middle hoop system according to the invention can be produced inexpensively and offers reliable guidance for the cable strand.
Abstract:
A deformable assembly which comprises an assembly of flexible metal leaves which each include a central portion having a side arm that extends from each end. The leaves are placed standing on edge, stacked against one another and attached by a central portion to the end of a plate supported by a wheeled base. The lateral arms of the assembly remain elastically deformable. The deformable assembly preferably comprises an extension of the leaves by acting on the end leaf. An intercommunicating gangway, between two consecutive plates, is manufactured using one or two of the deformable assemblies, each one of which is mounted on one of the opposing ends of the two plates and independent from the other leaf and/or from the other plate.
Abstract:
A passageway between two carriages of a rail vehicle, in particular a high-speed rail vehicle, wherein the passageway comprises an inner bellows and, disposed at a distance to said, an outer bellows to form an interior space, wherein the two bellows are each attached to the end face of the vehicle, wherein the two bellows are each designed in their circumference in a box shape, and that the interior space contains a means for at least a partial pressure compensation.
Abstract:
The subject of the invention is a corrugation bellows of a transfer between two vehicles which are articulated together, comprising a plurality of corrugations which are U-shaped in cross-section, wherein two adjacent corrugations are connected together by a frame, wherein the corrugation of U-shaped cross-section has two limbs as well as a web connecting the limbs, wherein the material thickness of the web is greater than the material thickness of the limbs, wherein the material of web and limbs is identical and wherein the web is of substantially planar construction so that the limbs and the web extend at right angles to one another in a substantially neutral setting of the bellows.
Abstract:
