摘要: The present application relates to a composite material and a method for molding the same. Firstly, components to be pressed is disposed in a gas-isolation element, and located between two pressing plates. Next, a plate is disposed based on a location of a prepreg element of the components, and then a hot pressing step is performed. After the hot pressing step, a cooling step is performed, thereby producing the composite material of the present application. A dimension of the composite material can be easily adjusted to meet requirements of various applications.

摘要: Moulding a composite pipe of fibre reinforcement material and a thermosetting resin that shrinks upon curing includes wrapping fibre reinforcement material about the tubular resilient sleeve of a mandrel in a non-expanded state of the sleeve. The mandrel includes an internal support structure for the sleeve which is reversibly expandable in diameter between the non-expanded state. The sleeve is internally supported by the internal support structure and an expanded state by application of an internal pressure to the sleeve. The mandrel with the fibre reinforcement material wrapped about the sleeve is accommodated in a bore of a mould. Seal members provide a closed annulus that can be evacuated. A thermosetting resin that shrinks upon curing is introduced into the closed annulus. A pressurizing fluid is supplied to the mandrel to internally pressurize the sleeve to cause diametrical expansion into the expanded state thereof whilst curing of the thermosetting resin.

摘要: Provided are a method for manufacturing a structural body and a structural body, the structural body formed of FRP and having a high degree of freedom in cross-sectional shape even at a low cost. The method for manufacturing a structural body includes a winding step of forming a cylindrical laminate body LM by winding a plurality of composite materials including reinforcing fibers and an uncured thermosetting resin around a hollow cylindrical core member CY; a compressing step of winding a tape or film around an outer circumference of the laminate body LM and compressing the same; a preheating step of heating the laminate body LM until a state prior to complete curing of the thermosetting resin; and a main heating step of arranging the laminate body LM around which the tape or film is wound and the cylindrical core member in a molding die and pressing the same to thereby heat the laminate body LM until the thermosetting resin is completely cured while deforming the cylindrical core member CY to a non-circular cross-sectional shape. Thereby, a structural body in which the cylindrical core member CY and the laminate body LM are integrated can be formed.
