An ultrasonic welding apparatus includes: a first robot including a holding part configured to hold a first member rotatably and tiltably and a moving part configured to move the robot itself; and a welding main body in which a second member is disposed on the first member held by the holding part of the first robot and which perform welding by vibrating the first and second members by an ultrasonic horn.

摘要: The invention relates to a device for electrically conductive connecting, by means of ultrasonic welding, of first electric conductors (140, 142) and second electric conductors (144, 146) in a compression space the cross section of which can be changed and which comprises at least one lateral slide, a sonotrode and a counter electrode, wherein firstly, blank ends of the first electric conductors (140, 142) are introduced into the compression space and are welded by means of ultrasonic action to form a first connection (148) and then after the first connection has been removed from the compression space, blank ends of the second electric conductors (144, 146) are introduced into same and are welded by means of ultrasonic action to form a second connection, wherein the first connection is fed to a retaining device (182, 184) before the second connection is welded.

摘要: A method of calibrating an ultrasonic characteristic on a wire bonding system is provided. The method includes the steps of: (a) determining a reference ultrasonic characteristic for formation of a wire bond; (b) determining a reference non-stick ultrasonic characteristic that results in a non-stick wire bond condition; (c) determining a calibration non-stick ultrasonic characteristic, on a wire bonding system to be calibrated, that results in a non-stick wire bond condition; and (d) determining a calibration factor for the wire bonding system to be calibrated using the reference non-stick ultrasonic characteristic and the calibration non-stick ultrasonic characteristic.

摘要: The technique disclosed herein provides a terminal that enables welding with an external member to be realized without requiring surface treatment of a metallic portion having been pressure-welded during ultrasonic welding. The terminal disclosed herein is a terminal constituting any of positive and negative electrodes of a secondary battery and includes a plate-like metallic first member and a metallic second member which is ultrasonically welded to one plate surface of the first member. A recessed portion is formed on a surface on an opposite side to the surface, to which the second member is welded, of the first member, and ultrasonic welding between the first member and the second member is realized in the recessed portion.

摘要: An ultrasonic vibration device has a sonotrode and a converter, the converter having a piezoelectric actuator for converting an electrical alternating voltage into a mechanical vibration. A first piezoelectric sensor element outputs a first measurement signal which varies in dependence on the vibration amplitude of the mechanical vibration. To permit measurement of at least one intensive state variable like the temperature, or the aging state of the piezoelectric actuator, a second piezoelectric sensor element outputs a second measurement signal which also varies in dependence on the vibration amplitude of the mechanical vibration. However, the second piezoelectric sensor element differs in a physical property from the first.
