Abstract: A method for treating waste printed circuit board includes carbonizing waste printed circuit board together with a calcium compound at 400° C. to 600° C. in a non-oxidizing atmosphere to fix a halogen contained in the board as calcium halide and to melt a solder of the board to allow mounted parts to be easily separated from the board, performing crushing after the carbonizing, and sieving crushed materials into fine particles of less than 0.5 mm containing the calcium compounds, medium particles containing the mounted parts, and coarse particles containing board pieces such that the crushed materials are sorted into the calcium compounds, the mounted parts, and the board pieces.

Abstract: Food waste disposer systems and related systems for coupling food waste disposer systems having permanent magnet (PM) motors to electrical power sources, and related coupling and configuration methods, are disclosed herein. In at least one example embodiment, a food waste disposer system includes a PM motor, an AC-to-DC converter having AC input and DC output ports, a housing, a power cord connection structure supported at least indirectly upon the housing, an adapter, and a power cord including a first plug configured to be coupled to the connection structure. The disposer system can be selectively implemented either in a first installation environment including a wall outlet by way of coupling the first plug to the connection structure, or in a second installation environment including a hardwired power cable by coupling additional lead wires of the hardwired power cable to the adapter and further coupling the adapter to the connection structure.

Abstract: A stationary housing (3) has an interior space (5) and at least one interior wall (7). At least one sawblade (9) is rotatable with respect to the stationary housing (3), and has a periphery (12) provided with a plurality of cutting teeth (15) and a plurality of collecting notches (17). An inlet opening (19) for feeding material to the interior space (5), and an outlet opening (21) for dispatching pulverized material from the interior space (5) are provided in the interior wall (7) of the housing (3), with a plurality of recesses (23) facing the periphery (12) of the sawblade (9) receiving the cut material from collecting notches (17) of the sawblade (9), and reverting the cut material to the periphery (12) of the sawblade (9) so that the material is cut multiple times before dispatch. The interior wall (7) surrounds a main part of the periphery (12) of the sawblade (9), and the inlet opening (19) and the outlet opening (21) are in direct communication with the interior space (5) so that the material enters and leaves the interior space (5) during one revolution of the sawblade (9).
