    摘要: A power transfer system to facilitate the transfer of electrical power between tree trunk sections of an artificial tree is disclosed. The power transfer system can advantageously enable neighboring tree trunk sections to be electrically connected without the need to rotationally align the tree trunk sections. Power distribution subsystems can be disposed within the trunk sections. The power distribution subsystems can comprise a male end, a female end, or both. The male ends can have prongs and the female ends can have voids. The prongs can be inserted into the voids to electrically connect the power distribution subsystems of neighboring tree trunk sections. In some embodiments, the prongs and voids are designed so that the prongs of one power distribution subsystem can engage the voids of another power distribution subsystem without the need to rotationally align the tree trunk sections.

    摘要: A socket with compact protection for conductors against foreign objects. The socket comprises a housing having channels extending in a mating direction, power conductors disposed in the channels, and assemblies disposed on the channels to block entrances into the channels. The assemblies are within a chamber of the housing surrounded by a wall. Each assembly comprises a cover and shutters pivotably coupled to the cover. Each shutter has a blocking portion and an actuating portion configured to be actuated by the housing of a desired plug. When the actuating portion is actuated, the blocking portion moves away from blocking the entrance to the channel; and when a mating plug is removed and the actuating portion returns to its rest state, the blocking portion automatically moves back to block the entrance to the channel. Such a configuration reduces the risk of anything other than terminals of the desired plug contacting the conductors.

    摘要: A telecommunications patch panel system (10) including a plurality of multiport telecommunications bezel assemblies (200) installed within a panel frame (100) is presented. The bezel assemblies (200) are formed from cooperating first and second frame parts (210, 240) to define a plurality of jack receptacle openings (202). In one example, the plurality of jack receptacles (202) are arranged in a two-row array. The first and second frame parts (210, 240) also retain a central bonding strip (290) having a plurality of grounding contact elements (292, 293). The grounding contact elements (292, 293) ground the jack modules (120) that are installed within the bezel assembly jack receptacle openings (202). Where a two-row array of jack receptacle openings (202) is provided, the central bonding strip (290) can be configured to extend between the rows. The central bonding strip (290) can provide grounding for multiple bezel assemblies (200).
