Abstract: A loadbreak bushing including a housing with a bore extending along the longitudinal axis from a first end of the housing toward a second end of the housing. The bore has a first end positioned at or adjacent the first end of the housing and a second end opposite the first end of the bore. A first electrical contact is positioned within the bore adjacent the second end and is configured to be in electrical communication with an electrical component. The first electrical contact is configured to be physically and electrically coupled to a second electrical contact of a power connection. An arc quenching member is positioned within the bore between the first end of the bore and the first electrical contact. A resistive member is coupled to either the first electrical contact or the arc quenching member.

Abstract: An electrical contact suitable for use within data connectivity applications in which both power and data are conveyed over the same pair of conductors is configured with a staggered profile geometry that isolates the location of high-current disconnects while maintaining a surface that remains free of electrical arcing and erosion. The electrical contact is designed with two points of contact, and the staggered geometry ensures that only one of the two points of contact is exposed to electrical arcing when the connector is disconnected while under power, thereby protecting the other point of contact from arc-related surface damage.

Abstract: A power transfer system to facilitate the transfer of electrical power between tree trunk sections of an artificial tree is disclosed. The power transfer system can advantageously enable neighboring tree trunk sections to be electrically connected without the need to rotationally align the tree trunk sections. Power distribution subsystems can be disposed within the trunk sections. The power distribution subsystems can comprise a male end, a female end, or both. The male ends can have prongs and the female ends can have voids. The prongs can be inserted into the voids to electrically connect the power distribution subsystems of neighboring tree trunk sections. In some embodiments, the prongs and voids are designed so that the prongs of one power distribution subsystem can engage the voids of another power distribution subsystem without the need to rotationally align the tree trunk sections.

Abstract: A system for wirelessly obtaining physiological data from a subject includes a sensor patch and a separate electronics package. The sensor patch is disposed on and adheres to the subject, and includes a first part of a releasable electrical connector. An electronics package includes a second part of the first releasable electrical connector, which is used to physically and electrically connect the electronics package to the sensor patch. The electronics package includes a flexible substrate, with shells set on this substrate. The shells enclose the electronics. The shells are connected by a flexible circuit board. Analog front end circuitry is placed in one shell, while the wireless transceiver is placed in the other shell.

Abstract: A docking accessory platform adapted to couple to a mobile electronic device includes a docking connector magnetic attachment system formed beneath an external back surface of the platform and configured to form detachable magnetic attachments to compatible docking accessories. The docking connector magnetic attachment system has an annular shape and comprises a magnetic element. The platform further includes an internal back portion opposite the external back surface of the platform, where the internal back portion contacts a back surface of the mobile electronic device when coupled to the mobile electronic device. The platform further a side portion that extends around at least a portion of a side of the mobile electronic device adjacent to the back surface of the mobile electronic device when the platform is coupled to the mobile electronic device. The platform allows wireless power transfer with the mobile electronic device through the external back surface and the internal back portion when the platform is coupled to the mobile electronic device.

Abstract: A docking accessory system includes a platform having a magnetic attracting element for detachably attaching a plurality of types of accessories to a mobile electronic device, wherein the platform is integrally formed with the mobile electronic device. The docking accessory system further comprises at least a first accessory type and a second accessory type, both of which are configured to detachably attach to the platform by way of the magnetic attracting element. The first accessory type may be a battery accessory configured to wirelessly charge the mobile electronic device when magnetically attached to the platform. The mobile electronic device may be configured to perform a function based on wireless received accessory information, where the function may be specific to the accessory type.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to an electrical machine for a drive system of an electrically driven aircraft and its winding system. Abstract: A connector for use in a free-standing connector port for mating with an external pluggable module is disclosed. The connector has terminals that extend lengthwise of the connector so that cables may be terminated to the terminals and the terminals and cable generally are horizontally aligned together. The connector defines a card-receiving slot and is position in a cage that defines the connector port. The cables exit from the rear of the connector and from the connector port. The connector includes a heat sink that is configured to cool a module inserted into the connector port.
